Funny how this works. I just found you today. You're video is still working for you and us the viewer 4 years later. Thank you so much for this! You deserve way more than 85k subs man your work is really nice!
wth?? When you think there could be something better out there on filming cars, then someone like this comes along and ups the game a notch. Good job bro...
Best summer anime of 2020. On the real tho, I appreciate the fact that while you were teaching how to film, someone else was filming you. Your thoughts are so well organized and easy to understand. Knocked it out of the park my dude. You're creating a generation of videographers 👐
I’ve learned more in this video than in months of researching specific topics. This video is all you need to watch for a good cover of the specifics. Well done, and thank you!
Bro this is the best breakdown of Car Cinematics I've ever seen! You should create a comprehensive masterclass course and charge people for it. Then you could get paid for this, and amateur people like me starting out could get a clear, easy to understand crash course to help me get started. Thank you for this!
when I see somebody using B+W filters... you're a man of taste. Also you should specify that you can't stack CPL on an NDX or VND. In that case rotating the base of the VND will change the polarization.
@@spamsubie you could try a combined filter tho... I have one around and it has 2 rings, the first rotates the polarization the second the ND value it's a mess to use quickly and I rarely use it
@@dallatorretdu yeah I'm going to get an ND drop-in filter adapter for my camera in the future. It goes before the lens so I wont have to worry about stacking anymore haha
This is a great video man. Really appreciate you taking the time to make it. I like how you kept it simple and left room for us to do our own research. Kept it from being too intimidating. Thanks!
Man, you have helped so much as I am a total noob when it comes to shooting content with proper equipment. I am eternally grateful for your video series and look forward to your channel blowing up soon! You seem to have been shooting for a while and have gone through a lot of trail and error. Again, thank you!
The best video when it homes to filming honestly love that you explain a technique and show how it should look like since the video before this one! Keep it up I wanna see more!
I usually never comment on videos, but had to for yours. Really awesome stuff! Well laid out, to the point explanation with example. Motivates me to go out and start shooting right now. Keep up the amazing work.
Really great technical info, thanks for sharing. It makes a big difference really knowing DP fundamentals, vs. the avg. TH-camr trying to do these cinematics with no knowledge.
Great tips man! Strongly agree with your points! Last thing im trying to get right and safely doing rollers without shooting out the trunk of a car :( Working on piecing a rig together for my Corolla hatch, and controlling the camera left and right at least. Truly love your content man!
Nope! Like I stated earlier in the video: always use ND instead of bumping shutter speed. When you bump up shutter speed you end up with really unnatural motion, like in the examples I showed in the shutter speed demonstration
Funny how this works. I just found you today. You're video is still working for you and us the viewer 4 years later. Thank you so much for this! You deserve way more than 85k subs man your work is really nice!
I’ve been waiting for this vid all my life
Now you don't have to wait too long anymore! EP2 and EP3 should follow very soon :)
Lol since you came out the womb😅

Thanks for this 🙏 .
@@mijiz as soon as bro came out he was like “damn when he gonna drop that video”
The fact that this is free, god damn, love you!
wth?? When you think there could be something better out there on filming cars, then someone like this comes along and ups the game a notch. Good job bro...
Keep killing it man. I love the humor you bring to the tutorials. Glad you mentioned the 180 shutter degree. So many people neglect this! Subbed.

Wow👀 hey lol
sWooZie no way is this the real swoozie...

That rubber band on the stuck filter thread is an awesome hack! Thx
Luckily I have just watch EP. 1 and found out that EP. 2 was just uploaded 5 hr ago. Thank you for creating this content
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 good video bro
BRUH WHY IS YOUR CHANNEL SO UNDERRATED
when I see somebody using B+W filters... you're a man of taste.
Also you should specify that you can't stack CPL on an NDX or VND. In that case rotating the base of the VND will change the polarization.
Yes that's true! Sorry I just figured most people would know that already since VND spins too. But thanks :)
@@spamsubie you could try a combined filter tho... I have one around and it has 2 rings, the first rotates the polarization the second the ND value

Awesome video mate! May I ask why not opt for a 24-70 lens instead - seems like an ideal focal lens for most of the shots?🔥
Thanks! 24-70mm only has a f-stop of 2.8. The prime lenses I use offere f/1.4 which is way nicer :)
@@spamsubie All for that extra bokeh! Keep up the good work man. Subscribed🙌
On the intro i was like meh that song again but the shots of you doing random stuff were so funny that you sold me on watching it all
“I’m read I’m ready I’m ready” spongebob voice
The most well rounded instructional video i've ever seen on filming. This entire series is like gold

This is genuinely one of the best videos I’ve ever watched
Mind sharing a link for the Gimbal?

Really nice video mate! keep on uploading, really love your content!
Really appreciate your help for all the stuff. Keep up the great work!
That shutter speed mistake is exactly what I did on a video, totally ruined a review I did on a motorcycle. good stuff dude and great info.
You sir are a LEGEND! thank you for these videos!!
Great video man, keep up the good work
It's why I like the Z8. You get oversampling at 4K/60 in RAW, H.265, and various bit depths. Not mentioning the 8K/60 RAW that too is oversampled
Man, I really need a camera capable of doing 4k 60fps. These shots are simply beautiful.
That ND filter makes the video look badass
Excited for Episode 3!
Thnak you sire, for the effort, greatly valued content!
These are incredible man, keep it up
So much information packed into a short time, much thanks!
Thanks for taking the time to put this out!
car cinematography filmed with photo camera love it!
Wow i learned everything we already talked about, but seeing the video and how they work makes it better. Love you Steven 🥺
Really great technical info, thanks for sharing. It makes a big difference really knowing DP fundamentals, vs. the avg. TH-camr trying to do these cinematics with no knowledge.

Thank you Spamsubie-sensei for teaching us.
Great video. I recently got into car photography and this video definitely help me realize i need a ND filter 😂
Your vids are great!!
Cant you just increase the shutterspeed for 4:34? Or should it always be matched fps with shutter?
Nope! Like I stated earlier in the video: always use ND instead of bumping shutter speed. When you bump up shutter speed you end up with really unnatural motion, like in the examples I showed in the shutter speed demonstration
Well made just thought this video was more for beginners
Damn, this video is literally like putting in cheat codes in GTA.
beautiful work. thanks for the explanations!
