@@TheDragon975 No they don’t 😂 that’s illegal. If they don’t physically serve you with a debt notice within 2 years it’s voided. They don’t go out of their way unless it’s a lot of money. Like 100k+. They have to get a judgment in American court to bring the debt to you, and if that’s granted then they have to get another judgement approved in the country your currently in. International debt collections must follow the rules and regulations of the country of origin as well. You can’t just hire a debt collector in another country, there are 1,000 hoops to jump through and it usually takes a year to go through everything within court, sometimes more depending on your country, then they have to physically locate you and physically hand you paper and then you could just move again and restart everything. You could take a million and spend it all in another country and leave for that country and run for 20 years and they’d just give up after awhile 😂 especially in countries that have terrible court backups like Philippines or South America or Eastern Bloc states etc. They are not chasing you down in the jungles of Bolivia…you could live like a king 💯

The way I see it is the only way any of her actions make sense is if she truly believes deep down the things she said. Which is wild
EDB has a video on this from last week where the judge ruled in favor of TikToker by not granting the motion for default judgment against TikToker, so it's not fair to say she's "running" from the lawsuit right now when by all account, she's coming out ahead. There's no default judgement and this will go to trial. And THEN she'll probably run, but she actually had a recent "victory".
Narcissism is a hell of a drug. Hopefully she's able to get the mental help she so clearly needs, unfortunately our prison system isn't intended to help mental health problems, much the opposite actually. I've always wondered how people like that handle accepting they're no longer important, and no one will help them.

It's a civil case. She won't be going to prison. (This is just like the Depp vs. Heard trial. Heard was found guilty but she never went to prison and never could have for defaming Depp.) She only will have to pay a lot of money to the professor.

$75 k is the minimum. That’s the starting point to get it into that level of court.

$75k is the jurisdictional amount for federal court. She asked for $1.8 million in her motion for default judgment.
