Chandigarh has the largest number of wealthy people in India, the recently released data of the National Family Health Survey 5 (NFHS) report has revealed. Seventy nine percent of the population in Chandigarh falls in the highest wealth quintiles, followed by Delhi (68%) and Punjab (61%).

I like Kolkata's architecture and rich heritage but don't you think it lags behind other major cities in terms of infra development, HDI and other sectors? It's high time you either change the govt or demand for better policies and infra. I have been to all four corners of India- Mumbai, delhi, Chennai and Kolkata but I can the see the stark difference in the latter. Even the metro is outdated, should be upgraded on par with the delhi , agra metros.
