Thing is, its known that Optimus Prime in the Shattered Glass universe is highly unstable and not very sane, hence if you look at him the wrong way he would kill you. Megatron is evil, but not stupid. In my opinion, most Megatrons would not team up wtih SG Optimus Prime due his lack of... sanity. I think later he turns into Nova Prime which is pretty cool.

To think that while Shattered Glass was starting to gain a foothold within the Transformers Fandom through the conventions & comic tie-ins, there were going to be plans for a Season 4 episode of Transformers Animated that would've featured its own take on the Mirror Universe (Bulkhead & Sari would've accidentally ended up in such a world for a while, which would've featured the Evil counterparts of Team Prime enslaved by their twisted/tyrannical version of Issac Sumdac to enforce his dictatorship of Detroit and fend off the Heroic Decepticons.) But alas with Season 4 getting canned by Cartoon Network in response to Hasbro + Discovery creating their own tv channel "The Hub" (this being before Discovery bought out WarnerMedia), these plans never came through. And while Derrick J Wyatt for the next few years would occasionally detail some minor info of the characters of this alt universe while doing sketches of them, once he passed away the idea of Animated Shattered Glass tragically died with him.
Pretty much why Megatron and the decepticons got traction in the first place in the regular universe, the evil autobots is just that extra push i’d like to read in its entirety 😂
Shattered Glass is an outstanding series and concept. I'm upset with myself for only picking up the Prime and Ratchet set when Hasbro released them a few years back. I only paid 28.00 for the set and now it's selling for 200.00+. The BOTCON figures are quite pricy as well.

You know, fun publications did actually publish a book called beast wars shattered glass, but it was (due to shenanigans in their series) instead about their marvel comics g1 versions of Megatron and Ultra Magnus leading their respective crews into the past of the shattered glass earth, with a shattered glass version of a bunch of Predacons only appearing on the last page

This would have been amazing and fitting for Bayverse Transformers with the whole darker more serious tone, Nemesis Prime always felt like a pupet antagonist instead of a whole evil Optimus, shattered Glass has the best EVIL Optimus, and Bayverse Optimus is already feed up with Decepticons demonstrated by the over the top masacres he goes on when executing his foes, people have joked sbout Optimus being a murderous sociopath on Bayverse
