It was a great issue. I originally was also thinking it would somehow connect to Darkest Hour but after hearing some interviews with Melissa Flores I kinda doubt it as she talks a lot about being free from the burden of previous canon so she can tell the story she wants to tell. Not saying it won't connect to darkest hour just seems to me like that would be somewhat counter to what she has said her intentions are with the series. And honestly? I'm okay with it either way because so far it's setting up to be a fantastic story
