Thanks for posting. I just installed a set of the brushed aluminum ones these on my Model 3 SR+. A couple things I noticed during my installation that might help people with theirs: 1) Once you've installed your door magnet, remove the transfer 'donut' from the door. There's no need to leave it as it will leave an impression on your new door sill... you see a faint impression of the circle. At least mine did. 2) My installation kit came with (4) clear round vinyl stickers that you should install OVER the door magnet after installation. This will help secure the magnet against being dislodged during cleaning your doors, weather, etc. Note, you can't install these stickers over the magnet if you leave the transfer donut in place. 3) My installation kit included a set of black foam positioning tabs that help locate the rear sills. No need to use the painter's tape. I think these sills are a great upgrade for your Model 3. Easy to install. Great quality, and they look great. Even my wife likes them... 🙂
I think so too. To be honest, I wasn’t very excited when Hansshow asked me to review door sills, but once I got them, I was really impressed by them. It’s one of my favorite mods so far now!
I don’t think it will be super easy, which is a good thing. It’s only 2 adhesive squares on each corner, so it will be way easier than the factory sills.
