It's unfortunate we have to do these aftermarket upgrades to our Tesla.

I get it. And one of the most annoying things of the old version Tesla models is the massive noise inside the cabin. Luckily there's a DIY fix which I will make a video of soon.

It is unfortunate, but if you love tinkering (like I do) the model 3 has one of the best aftermarket/ mod scenes around, I hope to get a model 3 one day

The thing that I like about all these Tesla models is companies is that they obviously love Tesla’s too! So, they see what will enhance the car from various viewpoints and invent a foolproof product ( s) to make it one better! Remember!, Tesla is only a tad more than a decade old

I think the water shown after installing the gasket simply dripped off of the gasket. T hat would me it works as intended.

It was always said that Tesla are a brilliant technology company, but they have no idea how to make cars.
Were Teslas ever tested in rain?

Thanks for the video and demonstrating the product; however it appears to be only marginal. Thus, I don't think I would buy it.

There is an air intake under the hook. If you install that thing, there is no fresh air coming into your car. This product is a super stupid

Sure there is air intake. But the seal is not end to end, just long enough to divert water to both ends instead of along the way, not even close to air tight or limit inflow which does not need much anyway.

not really. it does prevent some amount of water getting in the frunk. I have noticed during my carwash sessions.

It's the same thing on my Model Y that was made in Austin, TX. I'll be adding that same seal under my hood as well.
