    I am so happy my Naturopath actually tested my blood for all the specific things Dr. Hyman mentioned. If your doctor doesn't want to do a more extensive blood test, do yourself a favor and find another doctor. It's not just about your high cholesterol numbers. Thanks Dr. Hyman for your great advice and sharing your opinion on statins. Doctors are giving it out like candy!

    Good morning doctor…does the size of the LDL particles stay consistent through life or does it change at times, and if so, why? Thank you!

      changes - small LDL particles have been damaged by oxidation.

    I'd love to hear you in conversation with Dr Paul Saladino who's very anti-plants due to high levels of defensive, toxic chemicals found in many, as well as Dr Mason in Australia who has landmark studies - and more importantly, excellent results in treating Crohn's, Colitis, IBS, and other issues - when removing fiber from the diet. Cheers.

      i thought there was already lot of research to refute that .Coffee for example has loads of "toxic" chemicals , its human body's reactions to these chemicals that makes them beneficial.

    Latent infections and gut microbiome. Those sound extremely difficult to assess compared to the other markers you mentioned like CRP , pre-diabetes (HbA1C), homocysteine. If I can get a test on demand from LabCorp or quest (nmr, cardiac IQ) much more likely to do it since my GP doesn't go as far as you. But ultimately, not sure what would change in terms of treatment for prevention with all the extra testing.

    Is fish or krill oil already oxidized in the bottle before you even ingest them due to their exposure to light?

    • @KiwiNom
      @KiwiNom 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      they can breakdown from sunlight, but not oxidized, thats why they are in pills, but they can also breakdown if they are too old.
      just open one and taste it, if it tastes and smells terrible then its likely too old ^^

    I saw the movie Window Maker 2015. It's a piece of very good information on calcium score but it does not tell you how to reverse it or even if is it reversible or not? My calcium score is 60 and LAD (30-60%) stenosis as my recent report says. Now what? Any suggestion will help. Thank You.

    At 5:55 Dr. Hyman says that the group of people who ate high fat foods (e.g. olive oil, nuts) did "as good as taking any of the best cholesterol drugs." But wait a minute, he said earlier that cholesterol drugs for most people haven't proven to be that helpful. So why would he use "the best cholesterol drugs" as a benchmark for his comparison?

    I would contend that nuts and seeds are not healthy. The omega-6 to omega-3 ratio is terrible and would cause rampant information over a long period of time that would be almost impossible to correct even when eating lots of healthy fatty fish. Not to mention, the high presence of phytates and lectins that cause leaky gut and downstream autoimmune related inflammation.

    • @capomover
      @capomover ปีที่แล้ว

      His frequent unequivocal diet recommendations in these clips are shameful, not to mention the hours of gastric distress my gut experiences when I haven eaten even just a few nuts and seeds. All you sheep that hang on his every word like he is the Oracle are pathetic. Good luck. You are probably going to need a lot of good luck it if you follow the advice he is giving in hopes of improving your gut and heart health.
