    I just picked up this unit about a week ago. This little system is pretty darned good. Now it isn't the best unit for karaoke but it does a great job nonetheless. I bought this to project my voice while giving horse riding lessons in an indoor and outdoor arena and it has working very well. I also got a Fifine lav mic and now I can talk to several riders at once as opposed to yelling for several hours.. They fixed the hard case opening issue and this unit is solid and portable. I have to admit I was a bit worried that it may be too small but the sound is huge for a little unit. We will also have fun in the back yard with friends and family singing along with their favorite songs. For a small portable unit,, it fits my purpose perfectly!

    I ran a mono y splitter, 1 male to 2 male ends, and ran the 2 male ends from this guitar output into the Pyle 1/4" mono inputs and still only One speaker made sound. Anyone know how to split the mono signal from a guitar to play on the two speakers?

    What would be recommended for an entry level dual speaker setup? I am part of a Michael Jackson tribute show. We need mic support and we also are looking to have a way to connect our video projector to the speakers to project the video sound.

    Getting those speakers to detach is a real problem. Unfortunately, the 2 we've had were not getting caught on the screws as you suggested. The design simply did not allow sufficient latch tolerance. The suggestion to do it on the floor gave a glimmer of hope - maybe the plastic frame could be warped enough to clear the latch with the unit on the ground. But that did not work either. Either the latch spring mechanism needs another 1/16th of an inch more travel, or the tolerances need to be a good 1/16th of an inch greater. Good review though, and everything else about the unit seems to be satisfactory. But the speakers have to be literally pried off.

    • @ryanpetty8843
      @ryanpetty8843 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just got similar Pyle speakers as a gift and I have the opposite problem. I can’t keep them latched, so if I don’t carry it all separate, I run the risk of one or both of the speakers falling out because they won’t secure properly. I sent them back and got a new set and had the same problem. I then deduced that it was a design flaw (which I mean, if you’re gonna make a portable system, they should make sure that it’s portability functions are sound) and got on here to see if anyone else was having a similar issue.

    I own a small sound company... I need something like this to rent to people who want simple set-ups, that they can operate themselves. For things like church events, seminars, fund raisers, etc... I was looking at the Peavey Escort system. This system seems like its maybe a little simpler to deal with. If anyone's familiar with both.... what would your choice be to fit my requirements?

    1) I have seen some negative comments mentioning that this unit does not give Bass. So, it it true? Because I really want to buy this for Music when I will be playing Tabla instrument and which needs bass (Not too loud though).
    2) This model is not availabel on Amazon anymore. Do you think that they have discontinued this morel?
    3) which one do you suggest? Gemini ES Series ES-210MXBLU or This model? (I'll be buying for Indian Classical Bhajans Where we will be Playing one Harmonium, Second Tabla and third would be Vocal for 50-60 Men in one room and 50-60 women in other room.

    amazing how they copied the JBL EON208P, looks exactly the same. i own it and love the JBL system, its 150 watts perf side and they sound really great , they go down to 60 hz, and are bassy enough for home dj'ing, and outdoor events up to 100 people. when you use a subwoofer its perfect .

    Not trying to diss your reviews, I find them very entertaining and well produced, but this system sounds terrible. No bass, harsh midrange, tinny highs. I would much prefer the harbinger m120 system, its the same price, it comes with two 60watt 12inch speakers, 4 channel mixer, and cables. The harbinger gets really loud and will rattle your house with bass and it sounds really good. I used 2 harbinger 12s and 2 10s for 3 years no issues. Recently I upgraded to 2 alto ts312 mains and two alto ts308 monitors that are much louder.

    • @expertisland
      @expertisland  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, To be far That's why I say this system is a Talk first system To get great sound out of an 8" speaker your right you need to spend the money TS308, But if your the Mom and Dad and just want something fun for the Little league Game all this for $300 is Great. As for the harbinger m120 great system for the Price but not as portable. Side Note( No bass, harsh midrange, tinny highs ) 50% of that could be Me, I'm now using a bodypack with a lapel mic and I forgot to turn it down for the live music test and had to drop the gain in editing. I will get it Right when I do the Head to Head videos Gemini vs Pyle vs Alesis. for under $300 price point systems

      We use ours for karaoke and in the house it sounds great.I also used it New Years eve in about a 30 x 25' room and we had about 50 people and everyone bragged on how good it sounded,punchy but not blaring,I use a TC Helicon voice live fx box for vocals and it is the cherry on top.This way you can mix and match both the fxs from the TC.Helicon and the onboard FXs to get some real nice vocals.You're right,it doesn't have window unsealing, bass but it is sufficient,alot has to do with how you eq everything.
