It was just downhill after Samurai. All the super and mega seasons were a bunch of bullshit. The writers were too lazy to come up with a decent adaptation of the super sentei counterparts. "How do we incorporate space pirate rangers?" "Fuck it, it's a power up suit for the previous season"
29:00 - Legacy Wars, yes, but the movie was NOT a launchpad for BFTG. They had a version of Movie Blue, but the game/story was based on "Shattered Grid" from the comics.
It’s almost funny when you think about how terrible Samurai and all other ones that came after it were. But it’s Super Sentai counterpart Shinkenger is still beloved and considered by most Japanese to be their favorite sentai series of all time.
This is the era of Power Ranger that I grew up with and it was when the show was still on Nickelodeon and it was so nostalgic for me. I remember getting some of the toys for Dino charge and I remember getting the gosei morpher, it was just so nostalgic for me. Best seasons of the 2010s in my opinion would be Dino Charge and Samurai. Megaforce was good in my opinion but it had problems.
Also, I thought ninja steel was an OK season it wasn’t really the best in my opinion just wanna add that. But I do remember getting the sword on my birthday and I got the morpher too and some of the other power stars so that was nice.
I grew up with the first 10 years of Power Rangers. MMPR-PRWF with the honorable mention of PRNS (The first season for Disney). My little cousin grew up in the Disney era of Power Rangers, and she loved SPD and Jungle Fury. I watched the Disney stuff occasionally, but Jungle Fury and RPM were my favorites. As for the Neo-Saban era, I felt like they knew what they wanted to do with it, but they didn't know what to do with it. They were trying hard to create new "Nickelodeon Stars" out of a franchise trying to recapture what they had, which really showed. By that time, I had stopped watching Power Rangers altogether. However, I was still collecting the toys, and I got into Super Sentai and started collecting the toys from Sentai. They will always be a fanbase for different Ranger eras, and the Neo-Saban era does have fans who grew up with it, and I'm not mad at that. But instead of doing what Disney did... Neo-Saban kept using MMPR as the base instead of making each season its own. Hasbro had potential, but they, too, dropped the ball, in my humble opinion.
This was era I attempted to get back into the franchise, and I was pretty invested up until Dino charge, after that it got pretty hard for me to get back in .
Well Netflix did the same but with Toei Animation did with Pretty Cure after the YTV Canadian. And Saban decided to call a Gangnam girls at first but it was changed to Glitter Force As a way to differentiate themselves from the precure franchise
As someone who grew up on the remaining 3 Disney era seasons and binged Mighty Morphin to Mystic Force, Dino Charge felt like a return to greatness. Samurai, Ninja Steel and Beast Morphers were alright, Megaforce is the worst tho. Saban/Tzachor had the greatest Sentai season (in my opinion): Gokaiger in their hands and it was butchered. Everything that’s come out about what happened, I pray Tzachor never works in TV again and if Saban buys the franchise back in the future, I hope he hires someone (Chip Lynn, for example) who knows what they’re doing or brings in new writers who don’t have any nostalgia for Rangers/Sentai or both.
My favorite was Dino & Super Charge. It was the moment of the decade when they go back to fight with Dinosaurs. I also do love the Dimensions in Danger crossover, which was a refresh version of Legendary Battle. & the Boom Studio comics were great.
I SO wish that one of the tours included Anderson Elementary school. Oh well. By the way, I got into Power Rangers in fourth grade, so if they’d kept this going, the Dino charge ranger suit actors could’ve just shown up.
Call me nostalgic, but I like Samurai. The story is super intriguing with the expected story of the Rangers vs Zandred, combined with the story of Deker and Daiyu, not to mention Serrator betraying everyone in a beautiful form of Anti-Villianism.
The fact that they redid Mighty Morphin in 2010 was dumb. They should've did Samurai in 2010. Then Saban should've done Megaforce in 2011, Super Megaforce in 2012, and then Beast Morphers from 2013-2014, Dino Charge from 2015-2016, Ninja Steel from 2017-2018 and then Hasbro should've done a proper Kyuranger adaptation from 2019-2020.
I know that people look back at the Neo Saban era and call it poopy. But at least they were ambitious with their plans. The 20th and 25th anniversary, merch out the wazoo.
19:13 I do, I remember that game, I played that game... And I lked it. Maybe it wasn't the best thing in the world, but it was okay, I'm probably one of the few who remember it

@@hiEste yeah. Apparently there was an app completely focused around the ports that every single megazord used from samurai to ninja steel. I wish the app that went along with. 12:42 interesting fact coming from a fan from Latin America We did get Samurai and Super Samurai on Nick as well and it became the first time we did get the show the same year it was airing in the US (the previous status quo being getting to watch it a year after it ended in the United States, although with a Latin American dub) the thing with Megaforce as it still confuses me till this day its when it came around the season coming over here, Nickelodeon didn't air it like the last season later, Super Megaforce came around and we still didn't have Megaforce that's where the Netflix deal helped in an unexpected way, as Nick stopped airing Power Rangers after Super Samurai here in Latin America, don't know why but the channel was focusing on more Teen Dramas (Telenovelas produced in Latin America, this being either Argentina or Venezuela at the time) taking much of the progamming blocks at the time before 2014 began, we didn't had news about Megaforce still, but out of nowhere, the entire season came around to Netflix first before ever airing on TV (which it did finally, though not on Nick, but this time on Cartoon Network of all places, it also helps the fact that they also got the rights to air Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, which was a CW4KIDS/VORTEXX exclusive in the US for a while, and there, the final episodes finally got aired on TV unlike how the show left those in the 4KIDS website) it stayed up like that, until Dino Fury, as Season 2 was when it became a complete Netflix Original, though, still we had to wait until 2023 began for us to finally get Season 2 dubbed in Spanish outside of the USA

I agree but the Megaforce one would be in the middle of ok and bad, the Sentai footage mashing was not that good and the story kinda felt formulaic and no character development, no one really learned anything about life in the season
Never cook again bro 😭🙏 no matter how much nostalgia u have for that era is was trash samurai was awful mega and supermega was in insult to pr Dino charge was good and ninja steel was horrible
@@ZayTh3God i agree with all that besides the Samurai one
@@rihyoncéastraschildsamurai was also bad Jayden is as bland as cardboard the story and villains where all awful the cast isn’t even Asian the censorship was unnecessary
Are you high? Calling megaforce amazing is crazy
Dino Charge is definitely my favorite 2010 Era Power Ranger Season!! Arcanon and Singe deserved more Screen Time!!
So In Space, Wild Force, RPM, and Dino Charge were meant to be the last seasons but Power Rangers continued producing more teams.
Such a great video, very well made Este !
thank uuuuu
Despite your loves truck stop blanket as a background....great job! Enjoyed the video!!
ty!
Awesome video 👍 Este the ranger of the 2010s would be dino charge because of the the intro
I DIDN'T KNOW THAT WAS EVEN A THING!!! 7:19
he acts like danny gonzalez.... I LOVE IT
This is my Era and I love all these seasons
8:59 I mean it kinda did since the Green Ranger was my first celebrity crush.
I only knew specifically about Shinkenger being super beloved by American fans. I do agree with Japanese fans that PR Samurai was good.
The best show ever... What if deker was Cole...
Hasbro had potential, but they, too, dropped the ball, in my humble opinion.
love your videos este
thank u william
although i had no cable at home as a child i did had a samurai dvd that i used ti watch every day
This was era I attempted to get back into the franchise, and I was pretty invested up until Dino charge, after that it got pretty hard for me to get back in .
2010s power rangers is what got me into super sentai.
Come on, Victor and Monty were hilarious.
Power rangers samurai was my favorite because it’s the first one I grew with
I love all power rangers arc , yours
Everything that’s come out about what happened, I pray Tzachor never works in TV again and if Saban buys the franchise back in the future, I hope he hires someone (Chip Lynn, for example) who knows what they’re doing or brings in new writers who don’t have any nostalgia for Rangers/Sentai or both.
love the editing! new subscriber 😎
Thanks for subbing!
My favorite ranger from the 2010s is Troy. A lot of people didn’t like megaforce but it’s what I grew up with so
Those doughnuts were great! I want them back too!
glad u agree
My favorite was Dino & Super Charge. It was the moment of the decade when they go back to fight with Dinosaurs. I also do love the Dimensions in Danger crossover, which was a refresh version of Legendary Battle. & the Boom Studio comics were great.
Bro, this video is a MASTERPIECE
thank u 😭
I SO wish that one of the tours included Anderson Elementary school. Oh well. By the way, I got into Power Rangers in fourth grade, so if they’d kept this going, the Dino charge ranger suit actors could’ve just shown up.
I started with Samurai and ended with Dino force I love this era
Call me nostalgic, but I like Samurai. The story is super intriguing with the expected story of the Rangers vs Zandred, combined with the story of Deker and Daiyu, not to mention Serrator betraying everyone in a beautiful form of Anti-Villianism.
I am surprised the show was running after SuperMega Disaster. This show is invincible.
Great video but Bat in the Sun’s White Ranger VS Scorpion and Green Ranger VS Ryu
could have been included as well (both were confirmed official)
It surprises me just HOW much I remember from the Samurai season. Thanks for the video!
My fav 2010s Ranger is Gia. Hate Megaforce. But love Gia
Very late to this one Este, but this was masterful work! More videos like this, loving the longer form content. E-squad out!
thank uuuuu just dropped another one 4 u
ESQUAD vs SUPER ESQUAD vibes 😅!!!!!
19:13 I do, I remember that game, I played that game... And I lked it. Maybe it wasn't the best thing in the world, but it was okay, I'm probably one of the few who remember it
The creative *DOWNFALL* of Power Rangers.
damn
I’m always fascinated by this era of power rangers because i stopped/“grew out” of power rangers after SPD ended, so my only interactions with this period of the franchise is the sentai footage and youtube reviews
Antonio is still the GOAT.
dino charge rumble was actually kinda fun from what i remember
Very proud to say I met the PWR ranger samurai cast!
Man, I forgot about Power Rangers, Thanks for reminding me!
You bet!
I'm so happy I grew up with PR Samurai.
So am I, No matter what people say Samurai is forever my favorite
As i was born in 2009 i grew up in this era , in 2015 i saw power rangers dino charge and boy!! i loved it then i got to see power rangers samurai, megaforce, rpm, ninja steel, jungle fury, spd, overdrive, mystic force, zeo and turbo
I really wish that the sword builder app wasn’t so samurai focused. They should’ve kept updating it until ninja steel.
i didn’t even knew about that
@@hiEste yeah. Apparently there was an app completely focused around the ports that every single megazord used from samurai to ninja steel. I wish the app that went along with. It would have been updated until the final year of the line, but it wasn’t. It didn’t even include megaforce, Dino, charge, or ninja steel. I could’ve made my Dino charge mega ultra sword in that game/app, but I didn’t get the chance to because the app wasn’t updated past samurai related stuff. It still bugs me, even though it’s no longer on the App Store anymore.
Go Go Power Rangers!
7:20 I still like that dance video they did, and it also still haunts me in my head to this day too
I live in Texas and every time I see an Arkansas plate I think “R-Kansas? America explain?!”

interesting fact coming from a fan from Latin America
We did get Samurai and Super Samurai on Nick as well
and it became the first time we did get the show the same year it was airing in the US (the previous status quo being getting to watch it a year after it ended in the United States, although with a Latin American dub)
the thing with Megaforce as it still confuses me till this day its when it came around the season coming over here, Nickelodeon didn't air it like the last season
later, Super Megaforce came around and we still didn't have Megaforce
that's where the Netflix deal helped in an unexpected way, as Nick stopped airing Power Rangers after Super Samurai here in Latin America, don't know why but the channel was focusing on more Teen Dramas (Telenovelas produced in Latin America, this being either Argentina or Venezuela at the time) taking much of the progamming blocks at the time
before 2014 began, we didn't had news about Megaforce still, but out of nowhere, the entire season came around to Netflix first before ever airing on TV (which it did finally, though not on Nick, but this time on Cartoon Network of all places, it also helps the fact that they also got the rights to air Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, which was a CW4KIDS/VORTEXX exclusive in the US for a while, and there, the final episodes finally got aired on TV unlike how the show left those in the 4KIDS website)
it stayed up like that, until Dino Fury, as Season 2 was when it became a complete Netflix Original, though, still we had to wait until 2023 began for us to finally get Season 2 dubbed in Spanish outside of the USA
My childhood in one video lol
