Hey everyone, the Empress of light summoner episode and the No Armor part two videos have been taking longer than expected to make. So I decided to do something a little different so you guys have something to watch in the meantime. Let me know what you think about the tier list, I'd be happy to discuss where you guys personally would rank each boss.
I disagree with some of your points, such as the destroyer, but I play on mobile so any boss with any more then two projectiles makes me have two frames :(, but overall your right. Also mobility is a lot worse so some bosses are waaaaaay harder.
@@addisonyoungblood4501 I 100% agree, I think that my list would change if this was done from a mobile perspective because the movement is definitely much worse.
Destroyer definitely sees a big leap in difficulty in the harder modes, as it becomes a real endurance fight and you can easily be overwhelmed by probes.

i recently played terraria for the first time i just defeated the wall of flesh yesterday lmao, none of the pre-hardmode bosses were hard to me, if one was the hardest id say queen bee because i decided to do it in the bee hive, i accidentally summoned wall of flesh by killing a voodoo demon and the doll fell into lava, didnt have an arena or anything but it wasnt that difficult, now im too scared to play because hardmode is too scary 💀💀💀
@@nnniko7801 broo hardmode isn't actually that hard. Here's some tips on whet you should do. 1. Go hammer the alters in your crimson/corruption to get some hardmode ores. Go mine some ores and make some pickaxes strong enough to mine titanium. Then go mine titanium and make armor. Make the helmet class according to your best weapon. Also mine alot of crystals from the underground hallow (a new biome you get in hardmode) and try to find the gelatin crystal because queen slime drops some pretty decent items (especially the mount). 2. Avoid the new enemies as much as you can because you don't have hardmode weapons yet. 3. Kill alot of mimics whether it's crimson/hallow or underground just kill alot of mimics because they drop very useful accessories and weapons that you can use against the mechanical bosses. 4. If you're mage then try to find the wizard he spawns anywhere underground and sells alot of useful things especially for mages. 5. If you're ranger then aim for the megashark. It's a pretty decent weapon. Also make some clorophyte/crystal bullets. You can also get a really good bow from the hallow mimics which you can spawn out of putting a key (which you make out of 15 soul of lights) in any chest. These are some of my tips if you have any questions then feel free to ask and yeah sorry if this is long I'm just a nerd at this game lol
In my master mode playthrough, I beat skeletron first try, and queen bee took me like 4 tries. Skeletron is very simple in my opinion if you know how to beat him. Just run around and once skeletron shoots projectile just get under his head. Unlike queen bee, once you get her to final phase, she dashes like crazy. It's literally DPS race, who will get killed first
@@Rio_1111 I'm pretty sure skeletron shoots skulls in expert+, and queen bee shoots stingers every so often, and shoots bees after the stingers in expert+, so for skeletron, yes, and queen bee, maybe.

I broke into the temple pre hardmode. I literally built a wall around myself everyone five seconds just to not die from the enemies that have the same health as me lol.

when I did a mage master mode playthrough, I had to use magiluminescence, panic necklace, and terraspark boots to outrun WoF near the end. it was absurd how fast the thing got
My hot take is that the twins are easily the easiest of the mech bosses. The cursed flames are very easy to dodge just by flying up and down, and the lasers are easy too.
Yep. Its the first mech boss i tackle because of this. The only way itd be harder is if you damage both at the same time and fight both phase 2s at once. Not sure why anyone would do that though
Not sure what chats on, but King Slime is literally the only free boss. Every other boss at least requires you to pay attention, especially on master mode
Tbh, i Find king slime harder than eye of cthulu for When You fight it. Sometimes it just tps on Top of You and almost instakills You, EOC cant do that.
you can build like an a box in the air, so he can't touch you. Use the bow that shoots from the sky(i dont know how it would be in english) and you win
i actually think the destroyer is the hardest mech boss. he shoots so many lasers it's practically impossible to dodge and golem is actually pretty hard if you are unlucky and didn't get a good area
True, i got an awful arena for Golem, half of it was barelly bigger than Golem himself, and the rest wasn't much better, i only won because i grinded Halloween events in order to melt him fast enough, and even then i barelly made it
Honestly I would have split the Empress into two bosses and put the enraged one in a category of it's own. It'd be justified since daytime-summoned Empress has her own loot table, as well as specific AI (Unless fighting her on a higher difficulty, then her AI will behave as if she's enraged anyway), also since fighting her is a "1 hp/1 life" bullet hell.
@@bmrabbit I spent over four hours trying to beat the moon lord (multiple days). It takes an hour to fight the cultist and the pillars and then I just get wrecked in the second phase.
i wanted to do expert mode, i reached the pillars, my world size was small, solar pillar spawned just above my home, and yea thats the end lol, crawltepede thing just spawnkills me fok
I mean, the flying knife works really well on destroyer. I sat in a box with the standard arena buffs (campfire, heart lantern, honey), used the titanium set, and it only took 1/3rd of the night and i never dropped under 200. If you drag the flying knife back and forth on the destroyers segments it shreds it, and the probes arent really an issue because they just run into the titanum shards. Melee was surprisingly the easiest destroyer fight ive done out of any class, and i found this all out by accident because i built my box too high so I couldn’t use the fetid baghnakhs strat. I know you probably weren’t counting cheese strats, but I thought it would be fun to point out

@TheEmeraldCartYT When I bought the game I had no idea what I was supposed to do so I went expert on mediumcore, it took me a week to beat it with like 6 hours per day of grinding. (I went as far as physically writing down notes for instructions)
terrarias boss facts: the wall of flesh, all you need is a hell forge and get full set of hell armor and get the laser gun Step:2 once you got the equipments at least get a stack 999 Stone and build a large platform that uses all blocks Step:3 you make as many mana potions the best use mount is 20 Step:4 make sure to backup your pre-hardmode world in case you realizeyou werent ready for hardmode queen bee:get a rocket boots and a 4 block high platform:in case you lost you could use a melee for example:demonite armor with the lights bane and get many healing potions from the queen bees poison the easiest boss:Eater of worlds

Finally someone who ranks things inside the tiers too. It always slightly annoys me when someone does a tier list but then just puts things in tiers in the order they talked about it.
@@irregular_banana As of 1.4.1 they made Lucky Horseshoes spawn in the underground gold chests, and made Fledgling wings spawn in the skyware chests and the sky crates.
As someone who is working on a FTW playthrough, a good arena is the difference between life and death, you can also practice in journey mode if youre stuck on a boss.

Yellow Crewmate The new mode in Terraria. It was introduced in the Journey’s End update. It is above expert, with more rewards when bosses are defeated.

@@glassofwater281 mage is the second best class for me , like , there's good weapons for it in all the tears of the game but you'll probably gonna have problems with the moon lord , BoC and Plantera BUT.....if you...... beat..............................................D.....Duke...Fishron early....like.....pre Mechs you won't find any problems during the hard mode and i can assure you it's not that hard i did it on Mobile (bad control and lag) so you can do it . Or just pre Plantera as you prefer
I feel moon lord in the first 10 seconds of the fight is the hardest ,besides when all three eyes are popped out, because he spawns a billion projectiles immediately and he’s right on top of you

0:55 It's funny how many times i got the slime mount from King Slime on almost every new character i made and so early. When the Slime rain beggins, you know what you want from this event. If you are a new player, maybe this could be a little trouble but once you know he just jump low and a little higher (and how he teleports on expert mode) is really, really easy
Destroyer is easier than Skeletron Prime in my opinion, other than that I actually agree 100%. Skeletron Prime still ends hardcore runs from time to time for me.
I'd say, on Master Mode, Skeletron Prime is the hardest mechanical boss. But in the entire game overall, on master mode, I'd say that Duke Fishron is the hardest boss. I have a really hard time dealing with his third phase
Plantera went from one of the hardest bosses to one of the easiest each time I fought her. My sanguine bat finished her last time and I went, "really?"

My boyfriend and I have been playing together, and we found that the Electric rocket launcher you get from the martian madness event makes the Destroyer a joke. The launcher has shorter range, but leaves behind little electric bubbles that do massive damage to enemies who move through them. You can probably see where I'm going with this
im literrally playing paladin without zenith and still having problems with most bosses because they ALWAYS target me (im a paladin so this should be expected lmao) Edit: im playing multiplayer.

@@catzilla2248 activate elysian guard. if ur using asgardian aegis, which if you aren't ur dumb asf, elysian guard slows u down a lot, which allows for more precise movement. also increases ur defense so if u do get hit u at least take less damage
In my experience the Twins and Skeletron Prime are infinitely easier than the Destroyer in Master Mode due to the storms of lasers and health scaling, though this could also be due to playing with multiple people I personally fight the Twins first as I find them the easiest, just keep your distance from Spaz and Ret will just eternally miss you as long as you pay attention
People calling Skeletron free was quite telling of what mode they play on. Even on Expert, those skulls make Skeletron a huge threat, and the extra stats from Master just makes it even harder. Same applies for WoF and it’s increasing speed.

I started playing Terraria 1.2 on mobile and I still don't know why people saying "free" geez am I that old enough? (jk I'm still a teen and still doesn't know)
my first playthrough i went melee and for mechs my easiest was surprisingly twins. Destroyer was the hardest and prime is right in the middle. i used the flying knife for twins which isnt exactly a weapon used too often by anyone and i took them down with little to no problems.
Just by using beenades, WOF is "Easy", it can be killed in a minute, and his only challenging thing are his lasers, that can be easily avoided with rocket boots, or even any double jump accessory

As a meele i can assure you the destroyer is the hardest of the mech bosses because unless you have full sacred armor excalibur and master mode black dot monture
king slime is actually hard since depending on progression you will most likely fight it with wooden armor and barely any ranged weapons, they also fixed the cheese so yea.
@@DoctorBones1 True, but he is still really easy, and you will probably have flaming arrows and a decent bow, and running across a long platform instead of just building rope doesn't make him any harder. You'll also probably have at least tungsten/silver or gold/platinum armour which will let you tank him a little, even though at the point you fight him at he is a hefty damage dealer.

@@poisson7937 The second attempt was on a PC on expert, the first was on a console. I am not saying it's easy, it's hard. But once you get the pattern down, It's not too difficult. (Except the third phase, that's luck.)
@@diamondrg3556 all my fights were on mobile so I had to rely pretty much on the auto target which also didn't target him in his third stage so it was also luck. But after learning the pattern I managed to win the fight
I found skeleton super easy my first master mode play through. Easier than queen bee for sure. Meteorite armor and space gun, and dodging the whole time. Very simple.
Its funny how there's those edgy people in chat who are like "bruh ___ is literally free lol" who wanna look cool but actually just make fools of themselves.
Other thing is he's talking about mastermode. I played mastermode HC for my Terraria playthrough and you have to prepare as much as possible to fight most of these bosses. The shit hits hard and is scary AF. For example, when the Destroyer pops up and smashes you with its head for 200 damage with your maxed out defense + damage reduction and all buff potions and you're getting spammed with lasers you can die in seconds. Also sacrifice a lot of damage for defense so it takes even longer than these people think.
@Fire Stryker they can definitely vary between categories depending on class and prep. i struggled at one point on ranged and then after coming back a few weeks after i hadnt played getting back to it was alot easier, BoC was alot harder tho due to prep and stage of the game
there are really easy bosses not all but many bosses are easy twins are just fly eater of worlds just shoot as everyone said meele just use an item that is even obtained when summon the boss queen bee is really ez even mage class prehardmode no hell is ez i have been literally killed that boss in the hive as nothing 2 times and the last one i hasn't even haved many ligth i has whit prehardmode mage weapons and no hell wof is just run and who says no expert mode and master mode is harder that boss is ez even in master mode skeletron literally circles and lot of bees

With mods, sometimes I just use Cheat Sheet for making arenas, because I don't want to devote hours to making an arena, that's not fun.

Golem is pretty difficult if you include having to go through the entire temple, which imo is harder than the boss itself

Tbh, i Find king slime harder than eye of cthulu for When You fight it. Sometimes it just tps on Top of You and almost instakills You, EOC cant do that.

The only time I’ve ever died to cultist was when I forgot to switch back to my warrior armor after using angler armor for a fishing quest.
His attatcks hit hard but they're are easy to dodge.
I killed him my first time fighting and I never got below half health. I didn't even know his mechanics but he was super easy

i actually think the destroyer is the hardest mech boss. he shoots so many lasers it's practically impossible to dodge
and golem is actually pretty hard if you are unlucky and didn't get a good area
destroyer dont shoot lasers its the probe the shoots, probes are pretty dumb theyll get close to you so take them out first

True, i got an awful arena for Golem, half of it was barelly bigger than Golem himself, and the rest wasn't much better, i only won because i grinded Halloween events in order to melt him fast enough, and even then i barelly made it
Honestly I would have split the Empress into two bosses and put the enraged one in a category of it's own. It'd be justified since daytime-summoned Empress has her own loot table, as well as specific AI (Unless fighting her on a higher difficulty, then her AI will behave as if she's enraged anyway), also since fighting her is a "1 hp/1 life" bullet hell.

I love the fact that there’s a “help” category
I mean, the flying knife works really well on destroyer. I sat in a box with the standard arena buffs (campfire, heart lantern, honey), used the titanium set, and it only took 1/3rd of the night and i never dropped under 200. If you drag the flying knife back and forth on the destroyers segments it shreds it, and the probes arent really an issue because they just run into the titanum shards. Melee was surprisingly the easiest destroyer fight ive done out of any class, and i found this all out by accident because i built my box too high so I couldn’t use the fetid baghnakhs strat.
I know you probably weren’t counting cheese strats, but I thought it would be fun to point out

the wall of flesh, all you need is a hell forge and get full set of hell armor and get the laser gun
Step:2 once you got the equipments at least get a stack 999 Stone and build a large platform that uses all blocks
Step:3 you make as many mana potions the best use mount is 20
Step:4 make sure to backup your pre-hardmode world in case you realizeyou werent ready for hardmode
queen bee:get a rocket boots and a 4 block high platform:in case you lost you could use a melee for example:demonite armor with the lights bane and get many healing potions from the queen bees poison
the easiest boss:Eater of worlds

Destroyer is easier than Skeletron Prime in my opinion, other than that I actually agree 100%. Skeletron Prime still ends hardcore runs from time to time for me.
I'd say, on Master Mode, Skeletron Prime is the hardest mechanical boss. But in the entire game overall, on master mode, I'd say that Duke Fishron is the hardest boss. I have a really hard time dealing with his third phase

My boyfriend and I have been playing together, and we found that the Electric rocket launcher you get from the martian madness event makes the Destroyer a joke. The launcher has shorter range, but leaves behind little electric bubbles that do massive damage to enemies who move through them. You can probably see where I'm going with this
As a warrior, most of this was correct. Except WoF could be a little higher, since melee can't do ANYTHING to it!

In my experience the Twins and Skeletron Prime are infinitely easier than the Destroyer in Master Mode due to the storms of lasers and health scaling, though this could also be due to playing with multiple people

my first playthrough i went melee and for mechs my easiest was surprisingly twins. Destroyer was the hardest and prime is right in the middle. i used the flying knife for twins which isnt exactly a weapon used too often by anyone and i took them down with little to no problems.

EOC is easy on Normal but the second phase can get ya in expert so can the debuffs from the creepers from BOC

Just by using beenades, WOF is "Easy", it can be killed in a minute, and his only challenging thing are his lasers, that can be easily avoided with rocket boots, or even any double jump accessory

king slime is actually hard since depending on progression you will most likely fight it with wooden armor and barely any ranged weapons, they also fixed the cheese so yea.
@@DoctorBones1 True, but he is still really easy, and you will probably have flaming arrows and a decent bow, and running across a long platform instead of just building rope doesn't make him any harder. You'll also probably have at least tungsten/silver or gold/platinum armour which will let you tank him a little, even though at the point you fight him at he is a hefty damage dealer.

I found skeleton super easy my first master mode play through. Easier than queen bee for sure. Meteorite armor and space gun, and dodging the whole time. Very simple.
Saying ranger is best class means you've never experienced the magnificent might that is the Daybreak. That thing rips everything to shreds.
Ranger is definitely the best on Master mode. Decent defense and CRAZY dps at all stages.

Other thing is he's talking about mastermode. I played mastermode HC for my Terraria playthrough and you have to prepare as much as possible to fight most of these bosses. The shit hits hard and is scary AF. For example, when the Destroyer pops up and smashes you with its head for 200 damage with your maxed out defense + damage reduction and all buff potions and you're getting spammed with lasers you can die in seconds. Also sacrifice a lot of damage for defense so it takes even longer than these people think.
@Fire Stryker they can definitely vary between categories depending on class and prep. i struggled at one point on ranged and then after coming back a few weeks after i hadnt played getting back to it was alot easier, BoC was alot harder tho due to prep and stage of the game
@Fire Stryker i agree with Queen Bee, its a really easy boss, but Brain of Cthulhu is not that easy, it requires some effort
there are really easy bosses not all but many bosses are easy twins are just fly eater of worlds just shoot as everyone said meele just use an item that is even obtained when summon the boss queen bee is really ez even mage class prehardmode no hell is ez i have been literally killed that boss in the hive as nothing 2 times and the last one i hasn't even haved many ligth i has whit prehardmode mage weapons and no hell wof is just run and who says no expert mode and master mode is harder that boss is ez even in master mode skeletron literally circles and lot of bees

I lost a hardcore run to king slime in NORMAL mode and I wanted to quit the game forever
I killed the eye like 4 times and then went in to kill king slime thinking it's going to be a piece of cake, its phat ass spawned on top of me and I died
