Walang anuman, oh you do! Nice, it's a torquey engine and wish l'd known about the wrist pin offset on pistons. Otherwise l'll swap the H22a4 piston on my stroker w/ H23a. Haha, maybe next time. Salamat bossing.
You can find a used piston on FB market or ebay and use npr or hasting rings for it. You can try Honda stealership and see if they can do a special order but you have yo provide the part number for it. But for the price that they'll charge you, might as well get a custom forged piston to your desire specs. I know KStune offer a special order piston and so as Traum piston and other known piston maker company. But your block has to be iron sleeve though. I was looking for it myself coz l want to see how far the piston will stick out the block. The previous puston l shown was shipped out overseas.
The Honda H23a blue top has 10.6:1 comp ratio from factory. The frank H23vtec comp ratio varies by what piston is use will be more than H23 bluetop. Check out zealautowerks.com for comp ratio info.
what are your thoughts on using j32 pistons on a set up with an 89mm bore? they will be flush with the block at a compression height of 30mm and they have a 4cc dome.
J32 piston can be use w/ no problem. One of my sub mentioned it to me and l thought l 've seen his channel talking about/ showing j32 piston on his g23.
@@lak0605-e6n Few people have installed their K20a2 pistons normal ( intake relief facing intake valves). W/c is totally opposite of f23 piston wrist pin orientation. Not sure if there's any abnormal wear on piston or cyl walls if piston are install opposite of f23 wrist pin offset. It's really your decision, 0.006" is not really much. I'll be more concern of the valve reliefs, making sure that it has plenty of p2v clearance, specially if you want to use a hi lift cams. I'm trying to locate the youtubers that is using a J series piston. Once l find it i'll send it.
I have a f20b motor i bought for cheap, and definitely needs a rebuild.. i do plan on stroking with a f23 crank, what rods do you suggest? I found some on ebay but unsure about the quality.. i want a “oem” stroker kit and want to spray nitrous and make 350-380whp. Would the nippon cast pistons be ok?
You can use ebay rods, I'm using it on my g23 and boosted H22 and no problem whatsoever. But it's all up tp you. If you are spraying it, l highly recommend a forged pistons. I dont think Nippon racing piston will be enough to handle it but l could be wrong.
Appreciate your vids kuya for your valuable info on the H23A. Currently have one on my Prelude as well.

Thank you my man!

@@sagittnet2158 they do however have a 0.006" offset towards the exhaust so would you need to flip them the same way you do with the k series pistons?
