so weird how most of his attacks just happen randomly and almost instantly, you have no clue about what he's gonna do except when he already did it

@@thegoldengamer9315 also I just find out him uncurling counts as attack which is BS and that spin attack has a variant where it is not interrupted and the behemoth riding does not even work half of the time becuse as soon as you reach the vent it will do a spin attack making it impossible to left click this fight would be fun fight if we had a camera lock feature
Well, I havent lost to him yet, and it's just been me and a friend. Fought him at least 6 times, and I can tell you, most of his powerful attacks _are_ easy to see and not random.
@@LTSKRUNKLY most of his attacks are from the tail and it has hard to noitce when you are so focused on getting dem wings Imo they should increase the interrupt stun to 2.5 seconds and coinsder making some attacks deal less damage

Reason why I haven't played Dauntless in a loooong while. Since my pc broke and I'm kinda broke too, my only place to play it is either my PS4 which sadly mean I need to start from 0 or my Switch which crashes like hell. It's like at this point Dauntless in Switch is just a bad joke in the optimization department, some patches kinda stabilised the game while most broke it which is sad since I love this game 😭
@@gwagner1380 I think I've figured out the reason the game crashes. There seems to be a bug that causes the game to crash in the new hunting grounds whenever I open up a menu or something like that

This behemoth was nuts. What I do like is that it forces players on the island to come together and communicate on stones and rendezvous at Temple. So it's a great team effort
Then u realize u can cheese through ALL HIS 1 SHOT SKILLS with a koshai dash,then its back to solo hunting
the amount of dang insta kills this thing has is ridiculous
its BS because this thing is a escalation level boss "outside" escalation, so no buffs + the fact that everybody got total raw power reduced after reforged update long ago, that power missing still makes difference to this day
Fuck the aoe blast in particular, clean one shot even if I’m full health, and it feels like it comes out of nowhere most of the time
For everyone to know,koshai lamp's dash ability lets u CLEANY dodge through all his 1 shot skills

The only way I defeated it was with chain blades and warpike, I need the speed attacks and ranged or safe interrupts from both weapons. Or maybe I am just bad with every other weapon

Just now I started the island event and
got wrecked by Flameborn Reza before the Chronovore even spawned and couldn't fight it.
Also the time before that I got the Chronovore down to half and then it just decided to go invisible.
I love Dauntless, dauntless is my favourite game, I have no complaints about dauntless

Can't wait till people start saying this behemoth is too easy and we get actual strategies.
My "strategy" so far really just boils down to using chainblades with a high level Future Times drone that spits out molten and cascade orbs like confetti. Oh, and being in a squad of at least four people who are able to dodge every now and then.
@@Joe90h Come to think of it, my strategy also relies on chainblades. I just use momentum blades to ignore everything and Urska chainblades to get those ridiculously fast interrupts.
He Hits hard But His moveset is rather easy in my opinion
After playing around with several weapons, I really have to say that the lighter, quicker weapons get more parts. Repeaters, chain blades, and the punching mitts (I can't for the life of me remember their name atm) are the weapons I've gotten the most breaks with. Swords and war pikes are mediocre, and axes and hammers are far too slow to be decent. However that's just my experience testing out which weapons are best, between all the crashes from having a switch lol

The fight is WAY to ectic right now. It reminded me of Malkarion in the early days. We can't even see what he's doing half the time cuz he twirls behing the camera so much. Also, auto-adjuts camera with R3 on consoles isn't working.
It is however, really cool to have a six slayers Squad in a fight we can repeat over and over sharinf the "chrono capsules).

I love the challenge of the Chronovore and its not hard to beat if you have a good team with 6+ conduit, warpikes and chain blades.
Out of the 5+ times I tried with an axe and it was impossible. I switched to Warpike and I managed to defeat it twice.

I have an idea, shrowds weapon with tenacious and great hp, parasyte and when you are hit by this anti-thrax, you will resist, with little life but the ability of shrowds will activate
i want 3 fins for their weapon the ability is a 3 second of Bite Za Dusto

this behemoth cheats something fierce. I have never seen a group clear it without at least 10 downs
I normally run immortal life steal cheese builds with chain blades/warpike/repeaters and i still go down lol

My head hurts fromm trying to get those wings
I know the feels, I only have the chronogrips since I'm focusing on the armor first for the +6 Pulse then the weapons. And out of god knows how many attempts, somewhere around 10, only 3 of those actually netted me a wing, and 12 are needed for the armor set.

Still working on getting Fins for armor but so far I slain Chronovore and was able to get one from my first solo attempt.

Public hunts are horrible since a lvl 13 can join the island.

@@shadowkirby3763 The thing to have at least your armor and weapon maxed out (reforged to have max base attack).
And having a set to do decent damage, because it hits so hard, your weapon level is important too because it always appears at level 23
@@TPLR15 i fought it today my first time with a full island of slayers, we talking about reforge 10 stuff so they had knowledge, but then chronovore one shotted everything with its shockwave multiple time. It hurts xD
Fought with 6 slayers and it was the most fun I had in Dauntless in a long time
Just like urska i have a hard time since coming back and adjusting to the updated mechabics and new monster. I feel like i will master this beast eventually but its so quick. Makes me so mad.

Koshais lamp's dash lets u cleanly avoid both moves from hitting u soo if ur gonna hunt this thing bring koshais lamp

This thing literally eats time, henceforth given the name of chronovore.
How is it you can kill the ray at end with a lowered lvl weapon but you get a room full of super powered gear nerds that lay there pleading for a pick me up, and most time takes 30 minutes full of nukes?

This dude is very well designed with some of my favourite attack patterns from all the key behes
If you count ridiculous speed, damn near impossible interrupts, and constant 1 shots well designed then idk what game your playing.
@@jozaya37 it is like day 2 but yeah I think the fight is good. He's way less annoying then the frost dude but doesn't just sit there taking hits like agarus or melt like Thrax did.
Not sure about constant 1 shots, he 1 shots with his huge attack just like every other one. His interrupts are hard but they should be. The speed may be an issue to some but I see it as a challenge to adapt to
It's a good challenge, but his attacks are just werid and most of them don't have very intiuitive tells, he looks amazing but sometimes he just randomly hits you without even knowing what is he gonna do cuz most of his attacks have little to no tells or are just massive explosions.
Tho Dauntless really needed something like this
@@yamilalcaide9448 I will say after a few more fights. His tail has some hit boxes that shouldn't be hit boxes or should at least not hit like a normal attack but you're right it does feel really fresh and the sad masochist in me loves that

I use the Agarus axe with the Koshai Bond and just use all my axe throws in the wings.
One time i threw the axe when Chronovone spawned and it broke the wing in one hit

He was reseting the cd on the ice shard from pangar sword. So having multiple ice shard on chronovore :D

Ohdough I was watching your worst behemoths tier list and I thought what if dauntless let press spacebar/circle mid air to grab onto behemoths in certain ways or specific spots to break parts on their body's such as a quilshot hold onto the side of a caharrog for ez access to the glands
The hitboxes on the skarn will always be a mess

Me and a squad of like 5 randoms all (no exaggeration) got downed by it, it’s either an guaranteed insta-kill, or everyone in my team suck at dodging
So is this behemoth permanently in the game? Because a bit ago I heard about an event with some kind of stone pillar or something to do something with in hunts. I'm not sure if this behemoth is part of a limited time event
