I really like the 500 sq ft size and width of this tiny home. I think it is just much more practical for full time living, with ample storage. It doesn’t feel cramped at all. My heart warmed up when she said she basically likes everyone where she lives. What an inspiring woman, and what a loving mom she has (nowdays, not at all understandable) It does seems like transitioning to tiny housing makes you choose what's really important (physically and emotionally) That tiny house is the PERFECT SIZE. I absolutely love that is on on one level. A lot of the time seniors/retirees no longer need much of a kitchen--cooking less and simpler, often for one; very different from when they might have had kids at home and maybe did a lot of entertaining. Time to just go with her all-in-one counter cook stove-no big oven to bend over and clean/scrub YAY!
@@flamlingo3566 I'm 66, but I still do a lot of home canning, which takes good space. Also huge batches of cooking that I portion and put in the freezer. That way, I don't have to cook every day. That's why I chuckle. I hope that I'll still be doing it when I'm REALLY old. LOL!

At the rate of living cost that will be all im able to afford when i retire in the U.S. 😅 but no being open to move close to family is key, I know my mom would like me to live in a more affordable country❤

Yes, Cornerstone has many different designs. They are also wonderful people who build beautiful, perfectly crafted homes. My overall cost is also misrepresented in that I think the house started at about $125. It was also the most expensive model at the time we purchased.
Beautiful home , and having that second bedroom is a great plus. I probably would have put the washer and dryer in that second bedroom and added shelf units instead of bins. But it’s a lovely home.
I am an older single woman also and one thing that I have done is taken a adjustable wire shelving and put it in a spare room against one and a half walls that you can't really put a bed and also above the window. It gets things up and off the floor and I don't have to unstack things to get to the bottom container. I hope you find the suggestion helpful
