Thank you, thank you, for not adding artificial music. Just natural sounds. This is the best. Thanks once again. 🥰

15:48 That's a Woolly Monkey almost extinct in the wild....From South America I think?
These are part of a captive breeding program and very hard to breed in captivity.
Monkey World is doing a great job keeping them from becoming extinct.

Why? So you can see Allison's pets? Yes they are nothing more than her pets. They are taught to be as human as possible. Like what a shame that theyve taught these monkeys to walk right into there own dart needles. Buy hey you do you little girl!

They’re all rescues- and they’re taught to not be afraid of needles for their own benefit.

I wish the narrator knew the difference between and ape and a monkey. He keeps referring to the apes as monkeys. So annoying

We went monkey world march 2024, we only saw 3 monkeys. Two of them were in sickbay quarantine. Don’t waste your money to go there. It’s literally EMPTY, OVERGROWN SHRUBS, It’s like it’s being closed down, bit by bit but they not saying nothing. I don’t know maybe they don’t want to loose all the donation they get. Something is going on there. We never saw one orangutan, no capuchin monkeys. The food hall was horrible, literally garage sandwich style food, we went in expecting to have a lovely lunch, coffee, we saw the basic food they were selling and walked out. I took my kids to monkey world 20 years ago, it was full of life…. Now it’s like a grave yard.

This place has way more hand reared monkeys than the natural reared. Its sad , between Allison and Jeremy theu both make up horrible excuses. I get it, some really need it. But there are many that are really never given the chance, they get taken away within one day to a week of being born. For the life if me i can't remember which chimp gabe birth, but after a few weeks the mom kept laying the baby down, but would come right bavk to it. Nooe, Jeremy and lee stole her. The mom went (APESHIT) When she sees lee scoop up her baby, i believe that would have done it. If the baby would have been given back tight away, i guarantee the mom would have NEVER let that happen again. So they stole her, and then the mom goes into deep depression, but Jeremy and Allison back it up with postpartum, and everyone seems to be ok with that. Its wrong, Allison has all the monkey pets that are totally humanized why arent the chimps and orangs guven real trees to climb? I mean i though wanted them to have a natural life style? I believe its possibe tongive them huge trees and enclose them so no escapes. Every monkey at this point knows any mew babies witll.more than likey be taken away. They arent as stupid as you let them to be

How sad, they all look so miserable.

At the time this was being filmed the U.K. was going through the worse wet weather storms ever. So I not surprised you think they look miserable. Even their human counterparts were fed up by this time. Over 6 months we had to endure 11 storms with weeks on end of rain and hardly any sunshine.

They are not sad. They are better looked after here than in any zoo. It is a marvellous place.

@PennyBlanche They spent a lot of money on monkey world allways improving and it's a lot safer than where they was

They are just fine...most apes and monkeys have "resting bitch face".
Also many of the the rescue chimps had their teeth knocked out by former owners who used them for beach photography,
SO they wouldn't bite tourists...this doesn't help them look happy.

If monkeys are so clever, why haven't they learnt how to build tree houses, even Bunny rabbits have learnt how to dig holes to live in. Furthermore if a species of monkey does learn how to build tree houses will it achieve Ewok status or is that a different certificate?

LOL Well, intelligence isn't measured by architectural ability, but it would honestly be kinda cool to have our own "Ewoks".

    • @ChaplinLoli

Because they need to move around too often in search of food. People Nomads don't build houses as they set up a temporary home and move it around (there is a need for it since materials are not easy to make every time too often). Monkeys build a fresh nest every night to sleep in. In a way it is their version of a tree house/home. They don't carry it around as there is no need for that.
