Never really found herO an interesting player to watch. But this set made my mind change. He came with some brilliant strategies..especially in game 3. Sneaking the lings around those overlords like hes done it 1000 times. I wanted soulkey to win up until that game..I found myself oddly rooting for herO. And im kinda glad he took it. Another zvz with Larva which I think will be very interesting to watch. Lots of ppl dont like the matchup but I find they have some quick but nail biting games.
You guys have some of the greatest chemistry I’ve ever heard, including pro sports and alternative sports. The only exceptions are radio sports casters who may have known each other for 30-40 years, and you guys are *_still_* more interesting to listen to. I’ve gone back to watch all these old ASLs partly because i love listening to Tastosis. Don’t let any negative comments bring you down, you’re the best in the bizz.

True but Hero threw it, he could at least have kept the mutas alive AND in position to intercept the lings/drones on the ramp. He failed at both and I think that would have been enough to win him the game.

To those complaining about ZvZ being boring or limited: look up ZerO vs type-b, Nate MSL 2009
ZvZ would be more watchable if the opening wasn't the same every game. There is no deviation from early ling pressure -> muta -> ling and muta win. I haven't seen a ZvZ. go past that stage at all this season I don't think.

You absolutely don't, it's just one of the greatest examples. If you want more recent, watch Shine's games last season.

I dont think that ZvZ is going to be my favourite matchup. ALL games as well the last ZvZ games were over way too quick. Hope for somewhat longer games next time.

Gunju Augustine Well, It's because they don't actually know anything about high level pro plays, strategies, mind games, etc like the korean commentators do. Thats why I'm SOO thankful I'm korean so I can enjoy the genius of the korean commentators, who actually analyze games, give insight, and hype everything up so well. Like you said, the English commentators just say OMG because they don't know whats happening and are viewing it like a typical non-korean. Its a shame thet don't actually appreciate the beauty that is broodwar
I mean... Artosis's latter rating is around 2100. (if you don't play BW, trust me that HIGH)
But I've never heard the Korean casters so I wouldn't know.
Still, I find their casting much better than most other casters I've heard for other games.
Eh, 2100 isn't that high. I'm around 2500, and I'm not even that good. Lol. But that's besides the point. Winning games on ladder doesn't have that much to do with understanding the game.
I just feel like in order to understand the thought processes and the game development of these top progamers, you have to REALLY understand the game and all of its intricacies, something that non-Koreans lack unfortunately. And it's not anyone's fault or anything. It just that BW has been in Korean culture since the beginning, and Korea was the center for ALL modern match ups and strategies, so of course they understand the game at a deeper level.
I just feel bad that the non-Korean audience is missing out on awesome commentary and on the hidden and deep beauties of BW, that's all :(
