guys I wanted to know, against this Bisu build(corsair and DT) can’t the zerg just build 1 sunken & 1 spore colony at each base to nullify this build?
I thumbed up this question since I'm curious about the answer as well.
Economic burden, each sunken and spore spent is less army coming, and talking about economic trading, it may not favor zerg for doing that. Just my opinion
Big investment to make double static defence at each base. Think about how much money and larva that is
Zerg uses larve to spawn units as well as workers. Larve spawn rate is static, which means Zerg has to sacrifice army size for economy or vice versa. Building structures as Zerg cost drones on top of money which means it is a hit to the economic as well. In most cases it is better for zergs to defend only with units because they only cost money and not drones.
That is already 6+ drones and an extra 600 on top of that - at this point you don't really need to harass them as your opponent chose to harass themselves my making all static d.
Having these 6 larvae turned into hydralisks + upgrades + possible expansion would be a way better option than static d.

if bisu continues playing like this I really think he will win the asl. This was absolute domination... the way he used the Corsair and dark Templar harass is so refined... doing everything the opponent Would not expect

I mean, it's BvZ. It's supposed to look like this. It's unlikely that his TvP would look this good, especially if it's going to be against Flash.
Kort El Fes Gungnir yeah but bisu was remarkably sloppy vs z last year in the semis to lose against shine. He looks so on it this year. And his carrier and arbiter play against Terran has really improved recently ... look at the group stage
I think that's just typical Shine being Bisu's kryptonite. IIRC Shine has 100% winrate against Bisu in individual leagues or something. If it was any other zerg, Bisu would've probably won.

The commentators and the observer missed the winning moment on the second game. Towards the end of the final battle Bisu sacrificed his corsairs and killed off ALL of the overlords, putting Baxter on red. It was the nail in the coffin, Baxter couldn't rebuild right away.

I know you may hate me for this but I don't think Bisu did something really really amazing - he played normally well that I would expect from any player at this stage of the tournament. Except Baxter - this was the poorest performance I've ever seen - everything was sloppy - 2nd game he literally got eliminated with a few DTs in his main, the whole path of the shuttle was unscouted (no lings or anything that should have seen it) - basically it was terrible. Well deserved win by Bisu.
The nature of Brood War is that a really good payer makes the other guy look bad. I know Baxter isn't the best Zerg around but trust me he's better than he seemed here. He looked that bad precisely BECAUSE Bisu is so good.

I mean, it's boring because there is no response from the other player. The one who used it was almost flawless though.
Well he used his own build which is called "Bisu build" that he revolutionized. No matter other builds his opponent wasn't prepared for it, he couldn't keep up with his macro at all.
Well, there is no hope for Zergs then, even if Larva survives hero's ZvZ. I can't see even JD beating this build - as I recall, he's lost due to inability to control Rain DTs, though he managed to successfuly push him in early game.
Semi-finals are gonna be fun.
This opening is actually very hard to execute well. Also it´s very risky. BiSu just does so many smart little decisions which make this build more effective. There is no other player who can execute it like this. It´s pretty impressive.
dota has competitions for over 20 million dollars. you really think league matters? cmon. even CSGO has bigger tourneys in foreign countries. there are 4 tournaments a year in dota that have more prize money and viewership than any and all league tourneys. but whatevs.

There is definitely some room for improvement. The seemingly irrelevant stories and nonstop giggling can be annoying at times. Worst of all (and to their credit they only do this at the start of matches when action is slow), they go on these joke tangents. Some of them are good, but I think I would prefer more "useful filler", like talking about player history, rather than completely unrelated jokes.
a lot of comentators (of diferent games) study what this guys do because they are the most legendary comentators of all time. they joke a lot because they have been in the scene like for ever and dont give a shit.
