Was looking at getting one for bible study. Came across this video randomly looking at scribe reviews and your suggested reading was exactly what ive been reading. And your notes page is exactly what i had in mind. This just confirmed this is the choice for me. Thanks again and All glory to God!
On the new iPad pro that just came out you can get a matte finish screen to avoid glare but it's about an extra $200 I believe on top of the regular price? Also I think it's only available on the specked out version. I'm waiting for my Kindle scribe today so thanks for the quick review pastor 🙏🏻✝️
I actually also have an iPad Pro smaller latest one ... and I also prefer the kindle for writing and reading ... have almost no use for the iPad now .... the writing experience is much more satisfying than an iPad for me .. even with limited pens etc .... its all most people will need IMO.
How does it do reading PDFs that are image heavy. I just bought the Kindle Paperwhite. While it reads text only PDFs just fine, it's very slow with image heavy PDFs. It takes about a minute to turn the page. Does the Kindle Scribe have this same problem?
@@raulaleman2277 on some newer Amazon kindle books you can, but not like a PDF. You write in boxes in sections you've highlighted. I think its because of the ability to resize. If you write, resizi changes pages, and will distort your writing
@@patricklacson I personally doubt it, amazon monetises more through book sales/ audible/ kindle unlimited rather than hardware sales. If they do make it available on any device it will also be available on Kindle scribe, simply because it has the capability to. The backlash would be too big if they didn’t. I hope it does happen eventually, but for now just writing handwritten notes over highlights is good for me
Hello Patrick, thank you for sharing this review. I noticed that you have some christian books and a folder called sermons, 😅 so i get from that you're a pastor. I want to buy one of these also to write my notes of bible study. Keep it up.
you really dont know . your''pub'' format is called epub not pub, and it doesnt belong to kindle, it was a format before kindle itself was born, it is very old, amazon just switched to epub a year or two ago, and this is how i caught your lack of knowledge in the area
My, my, my, this review is excellent! It is a personal experience review! Why are you being so rude? Do you have any expertise in anything? Kindness is free. If you don’t have something nice to say, remain silent.

Enjoy! Soli Deo Gloria!
The best straight to the point review ever. Thanks man.
Appreciate the love! Thanks for watching.

Yes, its a very affordable reader. I preached a sermon from it last Sunday.

@ffelaar agree! Kindle doesn't offer as many features as the iPad, but for what it offers, it does it well!

Good question. I'll give it a try when i get home. I suspect it will behave the same.
Is that a toilet pen holder. Haha! Hilarious!
Haha, yes it is. I play pranks on my kids all the time. So for Christmas they got me a toilet bowl mug, Lol!
Why doesn't Amazon just let people write on their books???

Imo they will allow you eventually, kobo is already allowing you to do this, they’re just being slow
@@joealley0 And when it happens, they will probably require you to buy a new Kindle that supports a new file format.

It's great for ministry and affordable compared to Apple products.
