It's October 2022, and I am still going back and watching these hilarious masterpieces. All good things do come to an end, but at least we can reflect on these memories.
islamroks11 Am I The Only One Who Can't Decide If They Liked Woolie & Liam Better When They Were Mysterious People Who We Didn't Know And Just Showed Up & Talked And They Didn't Get An Introduction Or Anything.
This game looked absolutely amazing, whoever made this knows the ins and outs of horror. Guys also (as always) did an awesome job on the commentary, out of all the games you've played this month Id say his should be the 1 you do a full LP for, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that
the damn background music continuously puts me on my toes. i play this game with 5 minute intervals, because i get emotionally exhausted from the oppressive atmosphere.
I'm kinda glad I only met this guys in 2015, because I have tons of videos to watch! Too bad most of the games they play I don't even care about, but they are so charismatic that I am watching then anyway and its been fun yo!
The guy in the menu screen at the start of the video looks like he’s getting ready to play knives. But no, seriously, the 1st crap storm is one of the best things thesw1tcher ever released, other than their play through of deadly premonition.
From what I've seen we demand a full play through of everything they have played this month. I say that shows Matt and Pat are able to make any game entertaining to watch.
I know this game is supposed to be scary, but I just couldn't stop laughing during those last few moments of the video when you fought that thing with the pipe. Just hearing it go *dunk* *donk* *dunk* in a situation like that was hilarious.
I have no idea. I think it was how fast the gang leader was talking. I understood the woman he was robbing just fine but everything that guy said went right over my head.
Matt and Pat, I love you guys. We grew up playing the same games. I laugh at all the random references you make 'cause I been there too XD. Wish I could have a friend interested to play all these games with, new and old, like you guys do. Keep them videos coming. They make us all happy :D
I want you to want me, I need you to need me, I'd love you to love me, I'm beggin' you to beg me, I'll shine up my old brown shoes I'll put on a brand new shirt I'll get home early from work If you say that you love me Didn't I, didn't I, didn't I See you cryin' Oh, didn't I, didn't I, didn't I See you cryin'
Coming back to this and seeing Pat talk about how terrible that tunnel is.. It terrifies me to know there is one I used to walk through and every time I felt like some hooded figure would appear at the end and either murder me or make me regret wearing jeans without a belt.
30 minutes in, and so far the scariest thing about this (and I'm digging how scary this is) is the fact that Matt doesn't really look around much to see if anything's coming for him.
ever since the best friends split up I find all this passive aggressive gaming really hard to watch now, it almost feels like they forced themselves to do this for way too long
Good things in survival/ action horror writing: Characters saying “ah jeez let’s get the fuck out of here” Characters cursing at appropriate times: i.e. all of Sebastian’s lines in EW2, every character in RE7, and also Crane in Dying Light who curses under his breath after getting bit sometimes.
The great thing about rewatching these episodes is that I finally saw Dream Warriors in the past few months and now I'm just imagining Pat as that one kid who decided he wanted to be his D&D character in his dreams.
It's funny, during my commentary I made while playing this game, I noted that I would love to see how you two react to a few moments in this game. I was not disappointed.
I've always liked Grey because while it's ridiculously heavy on the atmosphere it does end up bringing in the scares and enemies, albeit after a somewhat long wait. But the genius of that is you wish it'd just go back to the hamfisted atmosphere of fucking DOOM. The fact that Matt and Pat don't sound too bored through the 20+ minute haul between the start and when it picks up kinda suggests that it's still enjoyable.
I watched it again recently actually, I forgot how scary (and hilarious) it is overall. I hope Matt & Pat eventually get their own TV show or something - with cameos from Woolie lol.
Man when the dude suddenly ran by and Matt and Pat screamed I literally threw a left hook in the direction of my screen. That jump scare totally got me as well. And the gun part was fucking intense, I really can't take it when there is an intense moment and I am not the one controlling it. But yeah I am not easily scared but jump scares manage to catch me pretty often.
I felt like the past episodes haven't really been that scary, but after this one, I was certainly satisfied with the amounts of pant-shitting fear that Matt and Pat went through.
i love when they play bad games, or limited budget games with limited appeal, because there laugh when shit glitches or they get scared by something that really shouldnt have scared them is the best part of the videos
WHOA! You shut your face fine sir, Stig is probobly one of the greatest voice actors of all time. Seriously, he voice acts as Simon in cry of fear (matt and patt played that game too), just go watch all the endings for cry of fear. He is f*cking amazing.
Hey, also: in the same way they talk about how the game will make you feel safe before scaring the shit out of you, SAW II, Echo Night Beyond, and Dino Crisis lulled me into a false sense of security before this one.
Idea, what if you got everyone to vote for there favorite game you have played during shit storm of scariness? Then, you guys play through the "winning" game and air it on Halloween.
Imagine, in the future; horror games with voice recognition. Sneaking through a dark house with a monster lurking around and scary shit happening. You're wearing a microphone that picks up every time you scream or shout, which makes the monster aware of you and know where you are, so you'll have to be as quiet as possible even tho you're scared shitless, just as if you were there. Now that would be so. Fucking. Awesome.
I gotta admit, I don't find horror games where you can fight back that scary. I mean, every time I play one of those I can't help but imagine myself as a bane of those scary looking fools who's only purpose is to die by my hand. It's those games where you have no way to fight back, and your only option is to hide. That's truly scary.
I'm really glad I haven't heard of those. Well, if you have Chrome, I suggest you get adblocker. Haven't seen a single ad in a few weeks. And no, I'm not one of those people telling you to get it, I'm recommending that you should.
It's October 2022, and I am still going back and watching these hilarious masterpieces. All good things do come to an end, but at least we can reflect on these memories.
Right on brother! America!
It's July 2023 and I watch what I want

You know it's scary when they make you go down the woolie hole.
Anything to do with Woolie is scary.

Spooktober 2023, reporting in!
Rise, fellow Lords of Shit. Take the thrones that must be taken!
I'm here with you buddy
That was the MOST scary Shitstorm of Scariness! I would LOVE to see you play through this whole game!
The guy in the menu screen at the start of the video looks like he’s getting ready to play knives. But no, seriously, the 1st crap storm is one of the best things thesw1tcher ever released, other than their play through of deadly premonition.
I, too, love to watch British people talking about anime all day.
That service tunnel straight-up looks like hell. And I have no doubt that there are actually places that look exactly like that.
This game either represents Hell or the Woolie Hole...can't determine which.
Neither. It represents The Woolie Hell Hole.
Aren't they the same place?
Kirito its a palette swap
Thanks for playing this game, guys. I would never have the guts to play games with the threat of jump scares, but I love them, so this is great.
Is that the same voice actor as Simon from Cry of Fear?
+Puhdoo 8 months late but yeah
+The Plumtree Thanks all the same :)
He's also in Portal Stories: Mel! I had no idea. Guy gets around.
Never been so happy to see one of your vids finish, scared the shit outta me.
10:55 3 years later we get this LP

Too soon...
Or maybe not soon enough.
No, too soon.
It was too soon, TonyBMan.
Yea If Anything You're A Little Late.
From what I've seen we demand a full play through of everything they have played this month. I say that shows Matt and Pat are able to make any game entertaining to watch.

Good sound design takes a game places it would never go otherwise
Of all the games you've done this definitely was the most entertaining, so I'd thoroughly enjoy a play through of this. Hopefully I get to see that!
I remember when Morfar played this unfortunately his legacy has ended
So I've decided this needs to be the next play-through you guys do. That was so amazingly entertaining.
I fucking love Attack the Block.
I couldn't watch more then 5 minutes. I'm normally ok with accents but good lord I didn't understand a thing those guys were saying.
Lol once you start watching it more and more, you know what they're saying. You kind of have to understand English slang though.
I have no idea. I think it was how fast the gang leader was talking. I understood the woman he was robbing just fine but everything that guy said went right over my head.
It's because they're a gang and they're kids and they talk in British slang. Watch it with the subtitles on, Pest is my absolute favorite character.
*****
I have no idea either. But sometimes I can understand British accents better than Americans and I'm American so that's saying something.
Matt and Pat, I love you guys. We grew up playing the same games. I laugh at all the random references you make 'cause I been there too XD. Wish I could have a friend interested to play all these games with, new and old, like you guys do. Keep them videos coming. They make us all happy :D
Did the capture mess up? Some parts where they read I can't see text
For a game named Grey, and delivers well on being fucking Grey, Matt navigates it very well
I absolutely Love how Matt shot the fuck out of that thing he seemed pretty pissed off when he was trying to get the gun; go Matt! :D
I want you to want me,
I need you to need me,
I'd love you to love me,
I'm beggin' you to beg me,
I'll shine up my old brown shoes
I'll put on a brand new shirt
I'll get home early from work
If you say that you love me
Didn't I, didn't I, didn't I
See you cryin'
Oh, didn't I, didn't I, didn't I
See you cryin'

HOW SKINNY IS THIS GUY!?

Why would you regret wearing jeans without a belt?

They should of called this game "Brown" like the state of my pants after watching this...
Should have called it Black since I am maxing out the brightness on my screen and can hardly see anything!
MrGMoney1944 Lucky you didn't see the scares then?
Li-Li Mandragon Sadly no, seems I will have to play with my settings if I ever want to see this video.
MrGMoney1944 Might be your PC
Li-Li Mandragon Think you are right have played with the graphics as best I can but I am ot having any luck.

Does anyone else think pat and woolie sound similar?
'I hear a lot of laughs coming from your bedroom too?"
Damn, that was good, Matt.
Wow! That's the scariest game you played in the shitstorm yet! Great video :)
The great thing about rewatching these episodes is that I finally saw Dream Warriors in the past few months and now I'm just imagining Pat as that one kid who decided he wanted to be his D&D character in his dreams.
Creepy Woman:"What have you done?"
Matt:"Nothing, I'm just hanging out with Pat. It's not the best life but it's one of the ones I got"
GOLD xD
7:00 i love how Matt try to talk like a big man and then just scream xD
It's funny, during my commentary I made while playing this game, I noted that I would love to see how you two react to a few moments in this game.
I was not disappointed.
The mods and Cthulhu I think were the scariest games on this entire list. They're so awesome, I can't even.
And yet it's still one of the better horror mods out there.
would love for you guys to do a full play through of this, the screams of fear at the jump scares made me lol.
this is the game that truly needs a full playthrough.
That was.. pretty scary. Would love to see more of this game!

Goose bumps!!!! This harkened back to my childhood hard core

Their reactions to this are fantastic.
I would really like to see them finish this game
God they need to play the entirety of this
it was lulzy how he basically fired THROUGH the memo he picked up because YAY trigger timing.
Man, I can't wait for Matt & Pat's Shitstorm of Holiday Happiness! ^_^
OH MY GOD
I didn't think ANYONE else in the UNIVERSE remembered that Goosebumps book! I STILL get freaked out thinking about that one!
I felt like the past episodes haven't really been that scary, but after this one, I was certainly satisfied with the amounts of pant-shitting fear that Matt and Pat went through.
hey matt
the lengths of the videos of this series is always different
why is that ?
some of them are 30 minutes and others are over 40 , why is that?
i love when they play bad games, or limited budget games with limited appeal, because there laugh when shit glitches or they get scared by something that really shouldnt have scared them is the best part of the videos
I'll give it props, the atmosphere is pretty good
The jump out scare was infinitely scarier than any of the actual horror, except for the knife man hiding behind the note
24:00 onward "TURN ON YOUR FUCKING LIGHT" I keep shouting in my head...
WHOA! You shut your face fine sir, Stig is probobly one of the greatest voice actors of all time. Seriously, he voice acts as Simon in cry of fear (matt and patt played that game too), just go watch all the endings for cry of fear. He is f*cking amazing.
Would love to see a complete playthrough of this, its pretty hype!
Man, I woulda LOVED to see your reactions to the bathroom scare in Eternal Darkness!
This has been my favorite video in this series yet. Anyway we can come back to this one later or maybe finish it? It looked really good.
Hey, also: in the same way they talk about how the game will make you feel safe before scaring the shit out of you, SAW II, Echo Night Beyond, and Dino Crisis lulled me into a false sense of security before this one.
God, I am always eating when watching these horror play-throughs. You think I'd learn by now....
Idea, what if you got everyone to vote for there favorite game you have played during shit storm of scariness? Then, you guys play through the "winning" game and air it on Halloween.
38:48 is so bloody damn funny! Matts reaction as well as firing randomly with a note obstructing their aim! XD
you guys would have so much more material if you played on pc.
And we'd even get another sneak peak at pat's ridiculously adorable wallpaper
Your mutual reactions make this worth watching.
Note: In the novel 'Brave new world' Soma is a euphoric drug distributed to general public by the government in order to maintain societal stability.
this seems to be one of the very few games that managed to get to you guys in the least so far
3 minutes in and a Half-Life 2 mod has already scared me more than any of the previous "horror" games they've played.
You should totally do a complete playthrough of this.
i wanna see them play this more, and i love how there was no enemy encounter for like 30 mins it rrly causes a person to drop their guard
It's not the best life, but it's the one we watch everyday.
I wonder how Matt and Pat are going to conclude this epic 'Shitstorm of Scariness' series.
Fucking. Awesome.
Guys you have to do a full play through of this! PLEASE!
I like how this game plays like a Haunted House simulator. And by Haunted House, I mean the kind you'd find in a theme park.
I remember when the audio was fine but future pat was insane saying this was the WORST audio ever
I gotta admit, I don't find horror games where you can fight back that scary. I tried watching this at 7 in the morning on my phone and it was too dark. NOW I'M HERE TO FINISH THE JOB.
