Take note that Sol's 5k can interrupt almost all of Gio's moves. Esp when she does a combo ending wish a skill and Sol blocking it (as far as I've tested)
I just started GGST as my first fighting game a couple days ago, and you don't know how useful guides like this are. Knowing which buttons counter which options in neutral is a godsend for building a gameplan as a beginner. It would be awesome if you did more in depth Giovanna matchup guides for the entire cast.
a gio flowchart would be OD, ty for this first video, i personally struggle with leo/millia matchups was wondering if you had tips on that, hardstuck floor 8 right now
Against Leo is pretty much 50/50 since it's just playing the strike throw game with a character who's all about strike throw. As for Milla I'm still learning a bit of counterplay myself the biggest thing you have to do is keep your distance and tech that throw so you don't get vortexes, ya gotta abuse 2D and capitalize off that counter hit
Definitely helped me, playing my son who destroys me with Ky, so being able to lab and learn against Ky players is helpful if nothing else.
