I sincerely hope the delay in oil production will come to an end and that the dangote refinery and indeed other refineries will become fully functional.

So happy for the realization of this project. The government should do its best to solve the power issue, tackle insecurity, and revive ailing mega industrial entities like the Ajakuota steel and the refineries. It should sell them to competent private sector players and encourage them to get those businesses running again. Nigeria is a goldmine. All that is needed to get things running and everything else will fall in place.

So, who owns the refinery: Dangote or federal government of Nigeria? You drill oil in Rivers State and Dangote build a refinery in Lagos smh

You're the example of Nigerians can never be pleased no matter how good she attains. A core pessimistic person who celebrates nothing. You need a change of heart.

Why was this not built in Rivers state? They have their reasons

States should lobby for investments. Here in the U.S., states lobby big businesses to set up shops in their respective states using incentives to win them over. Investment will go to a place that is conducive for business. States in Nigeria should get creative and stop being lazy depending on hand-outs from Abuja.

@@obehiokojie4066 Dangote does not have his own oil well to open up refinery shop in Lagos, except he has plans to import crude from outside Nigeria
