    We often highlight the "help" Dangote receives or benefits from the government. However, many others have received similar support without achieving comparable success. This often overlooks Aliko Dangote's vision and incredible character. Find another industrialist willing to risk everything to establish a steel industry in Africa-that's the real challenge. None will rise to the occasion until Aliko does. When the history of Africa is written, Aliko will always have a prominent place. Do you understand what it takes to raise money for a project of this magnitude, especially without relying on project financing, but rather using Dangote's own balance sheet? Let's give credit where it's due. I pray that God grants Aliko a long life so he can see Nigeria and West Africa produce the steel they consume.

      The annoying part is some set of Nigeria are quick to how he monopolies Nigeria market without telling us how others are not bold enough to do what he does. And this people happened to come from one place, and if the person that his doing well is not from them automatically it's a federal government support.

      I don’t call this vision. When most cars nowadays are now electric. Nigeria need electricity that’s what the billions should have been invested on to be honest. Stable electricity in country will bring more foreign investors. All the money borrowed from the central bank will never be relayed. We all know that all the political elites have stakes in this. The refinery is for the benefits of some elites not Nigerians. The same way Nigerians are paying more for cement than other countries.

    Dangote is not only a businessman but an African patriot. He was born into a wealthy family with a gift of luxury life to holiday all he wants, but chose this entrepreneurial path to add more value to his family name, his country and Africa at large. Every single billionaire in Nigeria is through corrupt oil deals or it’s derivatives, only Dangote is exceptional. His whole family line of wealth is from commodity trade. Never at any point anyone of them was tempted with the free oil largesse synonymous with Nigeria worldwide. Kudos to the worthy true African son!

      His safety should be well guarded. There is lots of mafias in the space he is getting into against well established global players. They want to keep dominating the space while attempting to dwarf upcoming players.

We need like One million more of this type of African, across the area currently called "Nigeria" and across "Africa" This reminds me of when Dangote attended the graduation ceremony at my College. He is a legend. Notwithstanding, my bros, staff and I will be joining him to produce massive value very very soon, by God's grace . Trillions loading... 💡🌩
    Just a side note, if this was an Afri-Caribbean event, why wasn't the person asking the questions Caribbean?

      In addition to this, I think the Biafaras and other Nigerians (the name and flag is changeable) but yeah we need to work together to fend off/manage/strategize-around our mutual enemies, the Arabs, Brits, EU, America, etc. So we can create aw inspiring things for generations to come and make the Earth a better planet, also travel to distant planets and galaxies.

      Nope. He should build a new one from scratch. He was lucky that they frustrated his efforts in one of the refineries he bought.
      It's a top management principle. When you gave done a lot of re-engineering and it still does not work. Better to obliterate and start from scratch

      @@diligenceeke3023 yeah like water is wet. Dangote said he had been to two sites before finally chosing lekki. 1st one was an old refinery.

      If one looks at his refinery model, it would be a bad idea. Better he does his own and leaves Ajaokuta to the government. If he had done the same to Portharcourt Refinery, the 650m capacity refinery would not have come up and that deal then was even laid with a lot of complications before another government cancelled it

    • @Dem_Girls
      @Dem_Girls 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For me, I think it's better Dangote or anyone with capacity does it, I'm referring to steel and even power if possible because let's look at our peculiar situation in Nigeria, what is the government really doing that is working out efficiently and giving the needed results? Almost nothing. And as for the things that government isn't doing, nobody else is doing it, so, we have nothing to lose if people like Dangote comes in to do them, so, let us really forget about whether Dangote is a good man or his business model is good or not, we need what we can get from him
