They have been producing oil for almost 50 years yet 48%(and to bring things into perspective that 48% of close to 200 million people!) of the population lives in extreme poverty! This is really sad indeed.

The problem is that relevant authorities are not serious about fighting tax evasion, oil theft and misappropriation of funds in the sector because those who should police the sector's activities are also involve in one of these malpractice or the other. I work in Nigeria and i have a few things to say. 1. Nigeria is a very beautiful place but the politicians and the very people of Nigeria do not care about it the least. All they want is easy money and nothing else. From the moment you enter Nigeria you see complete strangers asking you for money or other things. They don't have a sense of pride or anything. Just get some money for the day and that's it. Nigeria is so rich in oil, gas, agriculture, minerals. They could be the richest country in the world in no time even today. But the govt doesn't care nor do the people. They are just use to live life like this. I am not saying the people are bad, they are really nice and fun loving people but they aren't serious enough. 2. They need a good leader who can guide them to their fullest potential but everyone is just looking to satisfy their own needs thats all. If they change their selfish attitude and work for their country Nigeria can rule over the world in no time.

True but that refinery is going to save us tens of billions of dollars it’s finishing next year it’s can take Nigeria’s demand and be a net exporter aswell we also have a lot of other refineries coming on board and our agricultural sectors is on the rise in the next 2-5 years all these mishappenings will be long gone
The reason we can’t export agricultural produce is because we don’t have factories that rate safety for our produce hence we can’t join international markets but 6 of those are springing up soon in each region in Nigeria

He has changed the face of Ebonyi state and projected the state as one of the leading state in the country. He has build industries, good roads, good water system, airport and stadium under construction. Fly overs everywhere, college of Nursing, ultramodern markets, unity bridges, ring roads, street lights, security apparatus and other numerous projects still under construction. All this project were achieved within the space of 4 years. This is the kind of leader Nigeria needs. He has the interest of the country and it's citizens at heart. Plz Nigerians should watch out for this man.

He and his cohorts he will plant in the NNPC which is basically in-charge of how oil business goes . To defraud the country of oil revenue. Imagine a very poor country who can’t even pay salary of their civil servants . 2billion dollars oil revenue will go into a private pocket continuously. The most corrupt politicians are in nigeria . I am Indian working in Nigeria , sorry to know this blessed nation don't have a good leaders who guide this beautiful country to prosperity. Corruption from low to high level,not only politician, even military, police made their money.
