I had the same idea but I’m a girl dressing up as him lol! I was thinking of doing a pool noodle for the crossbar and glue gunning it to the outfit! Great idea with the PVC for the pole. Former vaulter myself and had to do this!

Funny enough, that was the initial idea haha! Have the PVC pipe as the crossbar instead, then I got hung up on how to actually attach it to the nether region so I changed my mind lol. Your solution of a pool noodle and glue solves those issues, nice! Also, I think the crossdressing adds an additional notch of humor, hope you kill it at the Halloween party!
