As an aside, they've expanded on the origin of the Narwa skeleton found in the Lava Caverns. Much like the one we face, she'd sought to settle down and find a good nesting spot to attract an Ibushi. Alas for her, she died before mating. It's possible she was attacked by another monster, but given the lack of noticable damage to the skeleton, seems more likely she simply passed of natural causes. But fret not, for the bioenergy she'd accumulated in preparation for mating enriched the surrounding environment, causing a boon of productivity in the Lava Caverns. Even if she wasn't able to produce a new batch of Serpents, this Narwa still provided the gateway for life to flourish. It's quite fitting how a creature capable of instigating awful conflict and destruction during its life cycle is in turn an enabler for a habitat's progression upon death. Though elder dragons are notoriously influential and capable of causing much damage to an environment, they too give their dues to the dirt in time and allow boons of growth.
That's interesting, I do think we sort of see what killed her. There's two huge rib cages on the opposite side of the zone she's in that clearly don't belong to her. The "two" rib cages also have a large cave between that the Narwa skeleton is perfectly facing. So my theory is that the ribes cages were one rib cage belonging to whatever attacked her and then Narwa beamed it right throw bringing down her attacker along with her.
Its so weird that Gravios isn't in Sunbreak. We have his juvenile form. And we have his skull. Just the thing inbetween the juvenile and the skull is missing.
It does seem egregious to have a batch of juvenile monsties with no adults around. Perhaps those particular species were especially sensitive to the Rampage and fled the region entirely, abandoning their youngsters. More likely it's just better for costs and time to add another Espinas instead of an inflation ice shark frog.
I think the only way to reintroduce gravios, and even agnaktor and zamtrios, into sunbreak, it's in form of brand new, elder dargon leveled variants or even a rare species for a future free title update. There is still chances this 3 monsters coming to sunbreak in some form in some way.
Looks like Zenith Gravios had its torso blown up from the inside out. Sounds like what happens to Raging Brachydios in its final phase in Iceborne. Turns out that Raging Brachydios is actually trying to expel as much Flashpoint Slime away from itself as it can due to the mold reaching critical mass and being too dangerous for even the Monster itself to stay near.
I love how they talk about how much his chest is open when you break it, but it's like, normal. Like, yeah, it's really open and stuff, but that also happens when you break it twice in the regular series.
I think it’s a size issue. Gravios is pretty big and the Zones in Rise’s maps are on the smaller size. I think it’s why we don’t have things like Gammoth and Duramburos either. Like imagine trying to fight Gold Crown versions of these guys on Rise’s maps. Even Almudron is pushing it in some zones.
If Gravios some how comes back, I hope it's somewhat like this Zenith version. For some reason I really dig the look of it, and it's crazy Iceborne Raging Brachy moves. Shame Grav never came in sunbreak
"I just need him to die more than anything." "Okay" (Gravios actually dies) Earlier today I was hunting with my bro and we did this same thing to a Basarios in Rise. My bro says take him out of his misery and I said okay then I end it with a spiral slash with dual blades.😂 That made me laugh and the way how Cotton says it so casually is even more hilarious. You guys are one of my favorite content creators when it comes to monster hunter. Keep up the good work! 👍
Shouldn't Zenith Gravios be dying? When we crack his belly we see that the flesh is right beneath his shell. So a giant hole in his back would probably hurt him a lot.
From what I found in concept art, it’s still a part of it’s shell; if they were to break it’s back enough, most likely they would’ve seen bits of flesh at the center like when they broke his chest. With a normal one, he showed flesh when breaking his Back and Chest, so I think a Zenith one would be fine enough if it’s able to regulate it’s temperature. Even for Zenith standards, Gravios is definitely one that stands out when thinking of it’s physique. (Could be missing some details) Gravios usually has those spikes on his back that tend to help regulate his body temperature (found it was more noticeable when looking at it’s Stories model), especially with his fire attacks; Zenith Gravios seems to have had his vents merge into one, creating that volcano-like back of his. Wouldn’t doubt it’s back serves the same purpose as the vents of a normal Gravios, just with the added nature of expelling fire out of it’s back as well. If I recall correctly, it’s chest has a similar function to the back. (I feel the chest of the Zenith Gravios is meant to represent a crater or something, at least to me)
You guys kindof touched on in it in the video, but my theory has been that the big black chunk on gravios' chest is something he is using to take in lava somehow and expel it out his volcanic back(dont ask me how it works, the animations and shape just make it seem like that is whats happening) and it has the side effect of making his normal weakspot much tougher as cotton said
Four floating limbs and a head... I summon Exodia the Forbidden One. By having all five pieces in hand the five separated floating limbs and head of Exodia combine, so i guess no longer floating limbs and head.
So Gravios and Zentith Gravios were talking and they said "you know how our chest is a weak spot, what if we rolled up more rocks on it and melted it onto our chests like armor, you know how the hunters have armor?" And Gravios said "that's a great idea you do it first and if it works we'll all do it." well they never did it because the hunters at Frontier are diligent enough to put a stop to that.
I like the burnt chest since it may shows that his heat is soo execive that even his rocky carapace THAT IS BLOODY LAVA PROOF cannot stand the day to day damages, kinda like the tigrex ribcage being too frail for his screaming power
It look like Capcom just Fake us with his " New frontièr" trailer for sunbreak whith espinas and just forgot all the Monsters from this beautifull licence !!! #capcom
I'd like to point out, the word you guys where thinking of instead of Pariah is Prior, as in a religious Prior. Which is a title for a religious person in an Abbey.
I wish they had released this in the west. Sucks Japanese company’s on outsiders just have full hate towards us.(bit racist from some companies but meh). This mmo would have been amazing to play
at the zoo I work out I sneak Koala bear out of zoo and take them home with me to eat ice cream while I watch nature shows. I then sneak Koala back in zoo next day and no one ever know HAHA I also feed them twizzlers threw the cage and mix sweet tarts into there food dishes.

That’s interesting lore. Always wondered what was the deal with the Narwa in the caverns.

Shogun Ceanataurs killed them all.
Maybe he will return maybe they'll just make him a serious threat

Monster Hunter: Orphans
It's funny that they call it burnt when the black stuff is most likely volcanic glass, as in Obsidian.
I think it's supposed to be scorch marks, like his Fire is so hot that it marks his rocky exterior
@@edwarddanza5468 Could be, but the deep red glow reminds me more of molten glass.
I mean volcanic glass is absolutely burnt. You don't get much more burnt than that.

Why am I now sad about Raging Brachydios😢
@@solarpanda3401 Zenith Gravios had it's torso blown up from the inside out, and you're sad for Raging Brachydios
I think Zenith Gravios maybe came across the place where the special slime for Raging Brachydios grows.
It ate it, survived and became like this.
I love how they talk about how much his chest is open when you break it, but it's like, normal. Like, yeah, it's really open and stuff, but that also happens when you break it twice in the regular series.
The flat surface on its chest is used to mitigate the force of the cannon breath. Bringing stability to the body while firing.
"Did his back explode?"
Literally yes.
looks like Saitama punched Gravios in the chest and the force blew out its back. xD
It's odd how they did not add Gravios in Sunbreak. Perhaps he could be in a title update, but it's still just odd.

@@yukoncornelius5189 That is fair, since gold crown versions of Basarios are massive.

Kinda cool that the over developed fire sack would open a cavity on gravios back, too much power, yet tye madlad still strong and healty
Bro's an absolute unit
I do like Josh got that vaguely wrong. What he's thinking is a Prior. Mixing a preacher with an outcast can make a lot of enemies
Huh... That beam animation looks very similar to what Goss Harag does, one long straight beam then a short side to side beam
I want frontier hairstyles the most, to be honest. There's a lot of good ones
Now I just really want zenith Gravios’s armor.
At this point, Capcom should add every zenith monster in the future mainline MH games, because their design is just beyond amazing.
Tigrex
…Be careful what you wish for.
No, pls no
You want us to suffer, don't you.
I could not disagree more
Okay, did Zenith Gravios eat some exploding rocks or some shit? His "overdeveloped" parts are one thing, but then they go bright red when he enrages.

Gravios for Monster Hunter Wilds.
I mean Rayman has the no limb thing down lol
Talking to the queen be like this intro
the burnt stuff is obsidian from the super heated air it is pulling
Favourite dreamworks movie go
How to train your dragon
Kung Fu Panda 1
Meet the Robinsons.

How to train your dragon
This is a great monster, imagine had base Gravios been in Iceborne.
Ok I love how this guy looks and gear too. He is better than the original tbh. Going to look how the hammer looks now
What I don't like about frontier is that some monsters move waaay too fast, like for a monster his size, he should NOT be this fast
The stage of gravios evolution. From water to fire
The stage of Teostra and Lunastra evolution. From ice to fire
Gravios you’re not supposed to eat barrel bombs
It look like Capcom just Fake us with his " New frontièr" trailer for sunbreak whith espinas and just forgot all the Monsters from this beautifull licence !!! #capcom
My family has that version of uno!
It feels weird that you're not using the on command hyper armor of extreme greatsord...
