This was a really fast turn around, which is why we didn’t get many after shots! I think it was only with us for a few days tops

It's either 88 or 89. They started requiring a 3rd brake like in 1986 but in 86 and 87 it was mounted more towards the middle of the trunk. In 88 and 89 they were mounted towards the back.

I don't think you should have dry ice cleaned the underside. It looks like it was Waxoyl'd. That is applied to stop it rusting!
That thing looks like it’s been vacuumed sealed for the past 30 years..

out of curiosity how angry would you get if a bird dropped onto the car after all this effort. i mean i lose my head after a wash and Wax but this level of detail would have me shooting them with a bazooka
