For those with an understanding of music theory, they don't even resolve the chord progression at the end of the song. The chorus is written in C Major, and the final chord of the song is a G Major chord (or dominant), which composers often resolve back to the C chord (the root). I don't think you will see this, but in 2019-ish I was diagnosed with OCD myself after struggling with it since I was a child. One of the things that helped me realise I wasn't crazy was this exact song. So thank you, Rhett and Link.

“Just Right” OCD is not really finding something disturbing. It more of a feeling something is wrong. Someone with contamination OCD would be extremely disturb if something wasn't "clean enough" but for 'just right' you just wash something until it "feels okay"

I don't have OCD but this is concerningly relatable.
If there is an unsolved Rubik's Cube in the vicinity, I will solve it.
If I don't close my bedroom door at least three times to make SURE it is closed, something bad will happen.
In photography class, I have to use Camera #13 or else something will go wrong.
I did get tested and I don't qualify for the disorder, my therapist told me it's just a symptom of ADHD (which makes no sense, but I don't have a degree, so I won't argue.)
Plz get a second opinion. They might be wrong
I have ADHD and OCD and most of those sound like OCD rituals IMO
@@racheljoy1140 The bedroom door thing was because my door didn't latch sometimes, so that one stopped. I use Camera 13 because all the settings are set to my preferences so it's easier. I think that's it, the Rubik's Cube is just me being pissy lmao.

I'm 37, I've had Ocd since I was 4, and I can only relate to the toilet paper roll, and the uneven swimmers, in this video! I know ocd is diffrent 4 each person, but it's actually more allot than one may think! And I'm definitely terrified of germs, or anything I perceive as unclean, I talk excessively, I count so much, have so much doubt, checking, and re checking things, and looking for reassurance in conversations, having to plan out almost everything I do, even talking to myself, acting it out, because I want it to be perfect, and being really hard on myself if I fall short, 😢 but above all, the unwanted thoughts are what terrorize me everyday, throughout the day! It leaves me with anxiety, and panic attacks,feeling extremely drained, and depression!😢This is ocd, that many don't recognize, and isn't really talked enough about! 😢 🙏🏿
