    Hello, about the layers/overdubs recorded on top of the first recording, the duration of the next recordings must be the same as the first one? Does the pedal not allow the next layers to have their recording duration time free?

    • @the_guitar_generation
      @the_guitar_generation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The length is determined by your first layer and that loops as you create layer on top of the original loop (if you choose to). Same as every other looping pedal on the market. Start with your longest “part” as your first layer and build from there. Hope that helps.😁👍

    Hey brother thnx for the demo very much appreciated. My guitar instructor has me working with a looper so I got this one and actually really like it. This may be a dumb question but because we plug the guitar into the looper and then plug the looper into the amp is there any way to work with the looper to where the loop that you laid down as a backing track stays clean while you play using distortion or effects on the guitar? Sometimes if I have a loop going I so want to play some more distorted/effects type lead stuff but the loop track also gets distorted when I click on distortion which sounds terrible. Thanks for any insight I really appreciate it. Also because of the way everything is plugged in and connected it looks like the looper must always be plugged in and turned on anytime we wanna just jump on and play even if we don't wanna do any looping yeah? Thnx

    • @the_guitar_generation
      @the_guitar_generation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for watching and for the comment. I hope you find some of my other videos helpful as well. You can play a clean loop and have an overdrive or distortion pedal on (before the loop in the chain) and that would affect your guitar but not the loop.

    • @RealThunderberg
      @RealThunderberg 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@the_guitar_generation Oh yeah for sure after checking out your list of videos I definitely subscribed and look forward to bringing you into the learning journey 👍🏼 okay so basically what I now need to do is add another pedal in the chain ahead of the looper to make what I'm trying to do happen? Any suggestions on some basic kind of a pedal that I should get that's not necessarily crazy expensive? I also wanna mention that I practice with a Spark amp from Positive Grid (LOVE this thing!!) and because there's an app that goes with it that gives you all these virtual pedals that probably wouldn't matter in this instance as whatever pedal I use on the app is still gonna come in behind the looper in the chain yeah? Thanks for taking the time very much appreciated I just really wanna get this nailed down thnx.

    • @the_guitar_generation
      @the_guitar_generation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RealThunderberg great! Yes that’s correct. Anything used after the loop (including in the amp) will affect the loop tone. Grab something simple like a good overdrive. Fulltone ocd or full drive are nice and not too expensive. Just take a trip to a local store and plug a few drive pedals in to see what suits your taste.

    It sucks that the only way to turn it off is to unplug it. Also, if you don't play through you get a lapse between your playing and the loop. I'm finding it somewhat frustrating. How do you turn the damn thing off without unplugging it? Won't last long if it needs to be unplugged after each session.
