OK so looking at this as of today January of 2018 you have to wonder how this along with the other advancements will look. I mean we are seeing neural implants for prosthetic coming into play and then we also see the ability to actually attach prostheses to the body through surgeries also coming into play as of last year. while neither if those two were 100% public as of my last check it makes you really think about how close we are to being able to make a prosthetic feel less like a prosthetic and more of a simple replacement of what was lost. OR for that matter how far we are to these kinds of things being looked at as "upgrades" of our current bodies.

That's nuts. I never wanted to be an amputee but I have often imagined what if I were missing body parts. How would I deal with it? I'm more inclined to believe I could deal with it, make the necessary adjustments and go on with my life. But I'd rather not have to.

I really wish I were an amputee
