    Ha ha - knitting on freckled whimsy socks while watching me talk about my freckled whimsy socks! How meta! Loving your vlogmas episodes and all the glimpses of your lovely garden. Hope you are keeping cool.

    What a lovely garden you have. I have just come in from doing early morning watering as we are forecast to have 41 in Melbourne. The birds appreciate the cool drink. Good weather to get some knitting or sewing done inside in the cool.

    Love seeing your chickens, how funny are they eating yoghurt and getting it all over their faces.🤣

    Enjoy seeing your garden on a warm summer day as it is a cold rainy day for me. Good for knitting tho!

    Oh My, things grow so fast there ,it’s great to see the trees get producing so young👍🏼 I hope they all make it through the hot season okay. My parents had a large berry bush in the garden and every year it was a race to get them picked at the right time before the birds could strip the whole thing in a day and flop around drunk on the ground😂🤣. Have a lovely day🙋🏼‍♀️

      It feels like the first real summer we've had in years, but luckily it has cooled down a little today! Thank you so much Elaine 🥰

    The Pittosporums are great fast growing screening shrubs and yours are looking great. Everything has grown so much. We’re forecast for 42c today, lucky I’m not working today so apart from a much needed nail appointment early, I will be inside in the air conditioning 🥵 (already 26.6 at 9am 🤯)

      It's always so nice to have a break from the heat, especially when you have some relaxing activities planned! I was thinking of getting my nails done after work too. Its just gone 9:15am here and its 32 already... we've got another 40C day today and then it drops to 24 tomorrow 🤷🏻‍♀️

      @ oh that’s not good, at least we have a cool change either this afternoon or evening. 33.5c now but nails and a small bit of shopping complete and I’m home in the air conditioning ☺️

    I am from Ottawa Canada 🇨🇦 and love your xmasvlogs. Never been to Australia 🇦🇺 so any information received from you is very interesting. It is -10 C. Are those water containers in your back yard? Do you collect rain water? ❤

    • @FibreBound
      @FibreBound  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, those are rainwater collection tanks. We have two, one is mandated for use by the Country Fire Service in the event of bush fires (which we haven't had in the area in the 4 years we've owned the property), and the larger one is for us to use as we please.We are in the driest state on the driest continent so collect rain water for use in the garden mainly. Adelaide only receives around 50 days of rainfall per year on average, last summer was quite the anomaly if you watched last year's vlogmas when it rained a few times a week throughout December!

      Thank you so much for the explanation. We are experiencing at times dry climate in summer. Along with hot temperatures . We do have a rain barrel that we collect
      Water. You are a lovely person. ❤
