  • In this video, I let my three pet alligator gar go in the pond that I built for them. I have had Brazos for over two years and the other two for a couple months. They seemed to like the pond and I hope they will grow to 7 feet long one days.
    Thanks for watching!!

I’d love to see more shade for the gar and more structure in the pond in general to make it natural like driftwood, sticks, big rocks and stuff like that. Even some piping would he cool shelter and designs. Awesome vid

Yeah, especially if bass are introduced into the pond, but also for bluegills. Sure, bluegill can survive in open water, but they will be more comfortable and less stressed with cover to hang out in.

WOO!! HOO!!!!! It's been a long time comin, boy those beauties have GROWN!!!! It seems like just a couple months ago it was just a little youngling Brazus, all alone in his home. I'm sure I can speak for the rest when I say we were all super happy with the introduction of Guadalupe and Colorado, especially when the slightly bigger boy didn't try to put em in their place, This is MY space and I ain't sharing, (munch, rip, the cries of the gar)
Having been raised indoors, the sunlight has got to be a very welcome yet new thing to adjust to, once they do tho, I'm 💯 certain they won't forget that your hands are a very welcome sight and you won't have to keep the net up for long at all unless you've got some new secret in store for us! A brother can dare to dream, right?
I was so excited upon seeing this in my feed sir, I've been on pins and needles for this one for quite some time my friend!!! Thank you!

I wish these videos were longer than 5 minutes. Everything looks amazing. So peaceful. The last duck should be named Abigail. It’s a good name for a female duck.

Could maybe name the duck "Blue" for its blue feathers. Keep it simple.

Hey are the bluegill making beds because they are already sexually mature or is it just because that's what bluegill do? This is so exciting, those lily pads are really taking off.
