They really know what the cornerstones of their songs are and how to keep those parts while also adjusting to the new lineup. Some have suggested a full album of these evolution versions but the TH-cam versions are enough if they are working on new material.
Great reaction. I felt the same way all through that. Excited to see them in a few months.I think they have actually got a tougher sound now thanks to the changes they have made highlighting with drums, bass and guitar to cover Saki's parts. I think Hazuki sticks out more for me now in their older videos. I notice now how freaking more awesome she was but she had the quiet librarian standing in Saki's shadow effect. Take that away and she is now and perhaps always was, so damn fierce.
Like a fine wine, they only improve with age. I’m really loving the four piece formation. Haraguchi-San and Hazuki show off more of their skills more. I can’t wait to see them live again. ❤️🌸
Taste of opinion of course..but..I think they are even better now. They are more relaxed now and Hazuki has Rise to whole new level. She is in charge now and She is more relaxed. Lovin’ this version. Magical band, amazing musicians. Lovin’ Nemophila 🔥❤️

Tamu and Haraguchi both picked up a lot of the slack, but I honestly think the mix sounds a lot cleaner now, and not in a "non-metal" way, as in every member now has a much more defined space in the sound and are more able to express themselves.
Hi from France: Great reaction Ryan! At 5 they had a hell of a sound and Saki took a big part of the light of the other musicians. Finally her departure highlights the enormous talents of the three other musicians. Hazuki is a great guitarist and finally she reveals herself in her entirety. Haraguchi-San is luminous and Murata still as radiant. As for Mayu, she remains the formidable Mayu... Enjoy New NEMOPHILA !!!

I watch all your reactions, and when you look at the camera, you remind me of my brother who is no longer here, but looked at me when he likes what he heard. Right before this I watched Rant and Chill response to this and questioned Harasukichan's part. I say give her a chance to perfect it. It was sudden and give love a chance.
I have to be honest: I wasn't at all convinced by the four-way formula. Without in any way questioning their talent! For me, their emblematic sound was based in particular on the two complementary guitars on either side of the sonic soundscape. But I'd be being totally dishonest if I didn't admit that they totally blew me away here! That said, Hazuki's immense talent was no secret, even if it was somewhat masked by Saki's overwhelming presence. Here, she'll be able to give her all without restraint, aided by her partner in crime Haraguchi-san. I can't wait for the first official live recording!
They are matured and refined. So great to have more space for Hara-chan too, such a fabulous if somewhat underrated bassist, with an influential sound. After the melancholy and disillusionment of Saki leaving, they are better they ever in my humble opinion. 🌸🌸🌸🌸
They sound great! Without that added 7 string, Haraguchi-san's low end really pops, and Mayu sounds so much stronger and confident than she did 4 years ago. The name evolution is definitely fitting. Btw, notice the homage to the orginal live studio performance, the only thing missing was Chucky's arm swinging out of Mayu's overalls.😁

We'd already gotten a brief taste of this new arrangement of Oiran via that Instagram video, which marked not only the beginning of Nemophila Mark II but also saw Mayu strap on her guitar for the first time in spite of the quality of that previous video, with this new one possessing better picture and sound. Whatever doubts many of us fans may have initially had as to the future of the band post Saki and Kensuke, all of those aforementioned doubts have since evaporated.✌️❤️🤘

Loving Nemophila 2.0 . Mayu's voice has so much more power and control now. Haraguchi is showing her skills now and Hazuki is really shining. Not a knock against Saki, but as a whole I prefer Hazuki s solos. And Tamu she's just incredible . This new version of Oiran is killer. Love Mayu's scream at the beginning. Agree with you, give Hara Chan's bass more power.
HAZUKI has stepped up to the solo lead role so effortlessly. She's so humble, but we know she's really a crouching tiger. The Laughing Thunder carrying the tradeoff lead parts like they've been doing that all along. My number 1 favorite rhythm section. And what more can be said about MAYU. She's thee most complete lead vocalist out there IMO. NEMOPHILA shooting for the stars as per usual 🌸✨🌠

Looks like they have it figured out, almost like a new song, your not exactly sure what they might do. Watch a little bit of Mayu play guitar and sing , and wouldn't be surprised if that becomes a thing. After all, the last band I remember doing something like that,it worked out pretty well.
Not my favorite musical result (chorus especially and "song specific") but I'm happy to see how they reorganized with a single guitar player. Now keep kicking our butts, ladies! :o)
Much preferred your reactions back when you focused on the song (as 1 should) now your very easy distracted by chat. Had to turn it off its now more about chat than the band! Nothing short of a fire would distract me from focusing on any new Nemo song/release. 1 of a few differences between a fan & reaction channels in 2024

I love this band and they still sound great BUT losing that extra guitar hurts a little so I cannot in any way say they are even better.

Did you notice Tamu is much busier during the solo, working the toms a lot to fill out the sound?

Unfortunately their tour in Japan ends before I get there.
