I took my wheels off, cleaned the tires with solvant 3 times, soap and water and finally hot water. That was 8 weeks ago. I've driven 3650 miles in slush, snow, calcium coated roads, ice gravel and a few days of minus 30 and it still looks great. The hi gloss shine is gone but I don't like hi gloss anyway. Proper prep and shaking the living shit out of the can is a must. If you ain't sprayin you should be shakin. Oh yeah, almost forgot. Manufacturers of useless tire shine products stand to lose millions when this takes off

I think proper prep is the key. I also emptied 1 can on 4 tires. I'll up date tomorrow which will be 2 months since I applied it

I just bought 2 bicycle tires that are brown, not black. I got a good deal so I want to keep the tires. What are your thoughts on going from brown to black? I'm changing color so will this last?
How many cats did you use? I painted mine a few times n the paint will peel off after driving. 50/50 between it being the brand or the coats/drying time

honest I have lost count but I swear I have done around 30 tires and I still have half a can left. Once I found out I could apply it better using a foam applicator...I have been sold ever since. Will one can do all 4 tires. And is it paint paint or just another kind of tire shine

Those toyota rims are trash one winter in the saltbelt and they are seized to the hub and the finish is corroded.
