I personally like, Superior Cover All. It far outshined Dupli's paint and although it may be sticky, the flour and dirt washed off easily yet, the application remained on the wheel. So, if it gets dirty, rinse with water and it's ready to shine again.
That cover all was a dealership item only at first because it best use was for cars on a lot to SIT and look very Shiney it's like Crack for your t ires when you run out of it you gona be looking for it
🇺🇸New subscriber here from New Jersey. Great video!!! I’m glad you took the time to show the differences. My question is how long does the tire paint last and how often do you RE coat thank you buddy!!! 🇺🇸
Brian, thank you for your support. I have a whole series on tire paint that I created to shoe and answer all the questions you may have. It’s around 21 videos
Tire paint definitely looks better sprayed on. I'm a fan of coverall. Been using it 2yrs now. I've never had an issue with it slinging. However, I do reapply after I go to the car wash. But I wanna try the tire paint next. I wonder how often you have to reapply it?
I bought a can and used it on my car and my wife’s SUV. She parks on a dusty, overflow parking lot at work. Traditional tire dressing is a dust and dirt magnet. Sprayed on the tire paint on her vehicle the weekend prior to her going back to work. When she came home, no signs of dust on it! The only traces of dust is in the treads of each tire lol! Just for fun, I rinsed it with water only and dried it with a towel. It still looks great!
AQUALUX AUTO DETAILING If car owners want to start a new application of the tire paint, what can we use to remove the old paint? Thank you for your reply!
marjomjom not trying to play dumb with you. Are you talking about the coverall or the tire paint? If you’re talking about the tire paint...which application method are you referring to...spray it foam applicator?
I think it comes down to how thick you lay it down/how glossy you want it. Yes 1 can will be more than enough for 4 tires. I just really like applying it via applicator bc the product goes farther
Awesome video, really like your straight forward approach. Can you get a decent sheen with the applicator ? Would you recommend spraying the first time then maintaining with the applicator? How long does it last? Just subbed
I cut a circle out of a piece of cardboard the size of my wheel and cut a hole in the middle to hold with my finger to hold against my wheels when I spray my wheel dressing. Quick and easy no mess to clean off my wheels.
LMao I was going to comment on another video I saw before this one about how this guy is hyped like hes on cocaine, then he brings up the flour and im dying hahahaha
Not a fair comparison, you sprayed the right once but twice or thrice on the left, allowing few seconds of drying. Same for the bottom left you applied 3x. At 8min, you applied a 4th time with the tire paint.
Oh really?....I thought it was the antiozonant, also known as the organic compound that prevents or the damage caused by ozone. The most important antiozonants are those which prevent degradation of elastomers like rubber tires.
There's definitely bias in this video... It's a matter of preference.... I don't think the majority of people watching this will be touching their tires after dressing them.... 🤔 I'm a fan of both products.... And for educational purposes Cover All doesn't sling... It stays shiney especially when reactivating in warm weather😊 👌🏾🙌🏾
Coverall is the best 1 coat and let it sit about 30 minutes no sling I don't see me spray painting my tires plus 2 or 3 coats then you have to have mineral spirits to clean off over spray. It's just spray paint 😂😂
tire paint looks dull and not black have a sheem purple to it and not glossy nor shiny crystal from walmy comes very close to coversall shine and is 5 bucks
The directions say 20 minutes. You stuck your fingers in it repeatedly before 10 minutes. Threw flour on it at 13 minutes. How about following the directions?
Thank you for your support and your feedback. I do not hate coverall especially because I have a very good relationship with the owners of Superior Products. I am sorry you feel that way, but I hope you have a blessed week Gregory and God bless you sir.
@@AQUALUXAUTODETAILING You good. Thanks for the in dept comparison. I had thought COVERALL is best petroleum-based dressing, but after watching this video, I will try tire paint for 1st time. Thanks.
Was this a fair comparison on both of these products?? What other testing would y'all like to see??
How about a comparison of the clear VS the black?
joe DiMemmo keep watching my videos man. My playlist has everything covered on tire paint
Thanks for the info. What’s the name on your little compressor and can you do a video with cleaning the brake dust on rims
It was a great Mach up
Do you still use this as your go to tire dressing?

Hi guys if i have some white colored tire sidewalls that i want to to be black is the duplicolor tire paint a good product for that?
How does tire paint do on plastic trim? I use coverall on trim 8:54
Wouldn’t recommend it
I always use cover all before i go to bed and haven't hand a slinging issue yet.
Awesome
If I want to remove Dupli tire paint. Is it easy to remove and add a fresh coat?
That cover all was a dealership item only at first because it best use was for cars on a lot to SIT and look very Shiney it's like Crack for your t ires when you run out of it you gona be looking for it
Very nice 👌 i definitely enjoy this 😊
Clear winner there Landon. After 1 wash the Coverall was gone. Duplicolor still looked good. And cheaper. I know what I’m buying.
I’m glad you found the video helpful sir 👊👊👊
Very good comparison, this is why it’s getting harder to find the tire paint, HAHA. My clear tire paint will be here today, ooh ya!
Whoop whoop!!!!! 👊👊👊

Happy to help thank you for taking time to watch🙏🙏🙏 I appreciate your support!! 🙏🙏👊👊
I usually use high gloss clear coat spray paint from wally's. Lasts about a month.
Tire paint has a black sharpie look . Like a faded black

O’reilly Auto Parts
Good comparison sir, I see a clear winner! That Tire Paint is 🔥🔥
Jose Calderon 🙏🙏👊👊👊
does the dupli-color clear tire paint work as well?
Yes sir
How do you clean your applicator pad, or is it junk after every use?
Junk
A new product to try! Just wondering if you had enough coffee that day? Haha Thanks for the comparo!
Lol no I’m always just a little amped lol 😂 😂😂
What ceramics have you used and what are your thoughts on differences... which is your favorite. As far as ultimate effects?
DPC pro coatings
I remember the days of my perfect 300ZX Twin Turbo and beautiful shiny tires. Then I returned to the family farm with gravel roads.

Is that one can good enough for 4 tires?

@@AQUALUXAUTODETAILING of course the Dulpi color tire paint, spray method

Where do u get your tire applicator
Great question sir. I get them at o’Reilly’s eagle one two foam applicator pack
Does the tire paint make the foam applicator get hard?
how long does the tire paint last??
17 weeks in Texas
thats a very fair comparison i'd say , good stuff.....is there a product number on the tire paint can, looking for this in Canada, thanks mate

Appreciate the support kjg, I have a 21 video playlist on everything you want to know about it.
Nice job! I'm trying some!
Noiceeee!!!! 👊👊👊👊
To my eye, the tire paint looks reddish. Did you see that when you were actually there? It certainly is shinier, but is it red?
No it’s not red.
I like your flexible shield
I got them on Amazon for like 5 for 5 bucks.

Good job on really trying your best to show the comparison of the products!!! Looks like Duplicolor is the clear winner.
Appreciate the feedback man!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'll take the cover all
Not a fair comparison, you sprayed the right once but twice or thrice on the left, allowing few seconds of drying. Same for the bottom left you applied 3x. At 8min, you applied a 4th time with the tire paint.
What's your failing to understand is petroleum base coverall Tire dressing protects the rubber of the tire from drying out and cracking.
Oh really?....I thought it was the antiozonant, also known as the organic compound that prevents or the damage caused by ozone. The most important antiozonants are those which prevent degradation of elastomers like rubber tires.
Dupli Color vs Renew Blck .. Right off the bat Dupli Color will be more economical
🙌🙌
Coverall in my opinion is the best, properly wash your tire and you will get great results. Wait for cure time and it will not sling.
Tony, I am so happy you lover Coverall! I know everyone has a go to product for everything. Have a great weekend man!!

not a good comparison. Why dont you find another product that is comparable to Duplicolor Tire Paint.
Thanks for watching

Cover all don’t sling if u put on right and it’s the best Dupont was the best until they took it off the market

Duplicolor tire paint adds a purple tint to the tires....no thanks
The title should be "why I hate Coverall dressing."

Extremely wordy with chatty Kathy talking.
🙏🙏
What a joke of a companion...

Let the tire paint dry overnight, it won't sling , it needs more time 🕜
Lol. I saw you.. when you wiped off the tire paint you dried your hands on your shorts before you put it back in front of the camera.. bwahahahaaaaaaa
Dude are you on something? Your going about 210 miles an hour
