Super pumped up for Adam’s upcoming perfumes 🤩 this has been quite a year for Areej le Dore already !
I haven't even heard of a new perfume by Areej yet??
@@RamseytheRam it has been announced in Areej le Dore IG . Infact it says upcoming “PERFUMES” . So might be more than a single 😅🤞
Hi Ramsey! How are you? If you could only choose one, regardless of price, which would you choose and why? Chanel Le Lion or Serge Lutens La Couche Du Diable.
Thanks!
Le Lion
Oh I've been waiting for this. Love this one.
Thanks for watching 👀
Killed it again ✅
😵
Tested this few days ago against Amber Aoud (had one on left hand and other on right) and I prefer Amber Aoud much more than Aoud. On my skin I get burst of citruses and rose with a touch of oud and some spices and in the drydown it’s Rose (very beautiful rose I must say) and Oud but it’s like 90:10 in favor of rose. Amber Aoud is more animalic but not to the point of being unbearable, more dense, more potent and longer lasting on my skin and you can smell oud throughout the whole fragrance. The prices kills it for me, if I’m paying that amount of money I would much rather give Frederic Malle 740€ for 100ml of The Moon than 715€ for 100ml of Amber Aoud. Both offerings from Roja are quality but there are better oud frags for my taste and the price is just awful when there’s houses like Bortnikoff.
I 💯 % agree with everything u said
Love this one! 🎉
Thanks for watching & commenting my friend
alright, you have me convinced to try some authentic oud oil. do you have a recommendation of a reputable place I can buy some? good review!
Start with feel oud, rising Phoenix, JINX, and if you want a very high end brand Ensar Oud.... you can also hit up my buddy Prakhar Gupta on IG ... look up sherwood Perfumes, send him a message tell him I sent you and what you are looking for ..sometimes he has some good quality oils for sale
@@RamseytheRam thanks! I also just found a an old post on reddit mentioning rising phoenix. I don’t have instagram or fb, so I may just try rising pheonix to start. also, I test wore Anubis today and it’s good good stuff 👍 I’m going to test bengal rouge tomorrow.
The whole brand is full bottle worthy to me
How are you Ram? Just catching up on some videos now. Thanks for another in depth and well thought out review 🐏❤🙏
Appreciate you watching & commenting 🍻
Just my opinion.
I see this brand as luxury.
Fortunately/Unfortunately, it creeped into the mainstream and became a victim of niche pricing comparison.
That's probably the brands fault.
Although Roja fragrances may not be the best smelling, they do seem like some of the best constructed that I've smelled.
I saw one reviewer mention that a Roja fragrance smells like a Roja. I couldn't agree more.
I'm not sure what metric people judge how much a fragrance cost, but I have no problem with these prices.
I don't care for Apex, Fetish or Majestic Aoud to name a few. But I won't deter anyone from paying the price they're asking for them.
Just stating my opinion.
I hope I didn't sound too negative because I do appreciate the work you put in your content.
Thank you
No I agree with you.... you are spot on... there are now brands out roja-ing Roja on Price... look up the brand Amaffi if you want a laugh....I have also probably uploaded more individual reviews of the Roja brand than any other youtuber...pull up my Roja Playlist and you will see the immense amount of work I have put into the house...so obviously something about them speaks to me
@@RamseytheRam Omg at Amaffi.
😳
Wore it last the other day :) I really like it :) Scored a couple of backups at great price
Nice! Thanks for watching 👀
I still have a soft spot for Musk Aoud… I remember the company sent me a random out of the blue sample of the OG Aoud like a month after I’d bought a sample of Haute Luxe back in 2018… I can’t remember it at all tho…
I think this is actually better than musk aoud which lasts all of an hour on my skin lol
This will be fun :))
Thanks for watching & commenting 🍻
Talk about synchronicity, I just tried this today for the first time, and for no particular reason. Definitely not what I look for in an oud perfume, this is too heavy on the rose for me (Amber Aoud as well).
It's a Rose Saffron 💣
Nice review Ramsey. Hey, are you familiar with the house of Al Shareef Oudh? Any thoughts on it? 🙏🏼
I might have a sample floating around some where but no thoughts on it as of yet
What i know is that it is considered one of the good ones, i own a couple of oils from there
@@Tangentbordsblues
Of the three, Amber Aoud is the best in my opinion but I don’t like any of them. They all feel like they came out of a lab, moreso than the other Roja scents. Musk Aoud also lasts about 5 seconds on my skin. It’s wild.
I get like half an hour out of Musk aoud but I agree with you Amber Aoud is my favorite too
Is fregence d bois sahraa good fregence what your opinion is it smell sexy or alluring or not
Haven't smelled it yet... although I may have a sample somewhere amongst my 1000 samples lol
One day I will get to it
@@RamseytheRam plzzz make a video on it
One day 👍🏻
Are you trolling?
@@Tangentbordsblues what
Some people say it has oud because it is very black and it stains fabrics but to me it more smells like red rose. After watching your videos, I wonder if there is any oud in perfumes like Blue Sapphire and Oud&oOud. I Think some perfumes like Alioth , Dubhe(Tiziana) and Mana(Nishane) have real oud.
Cartier Oud collection
Nahhh the color of the juice doesn't mean anything....it could he food coloring for all I know lol
@@RamseytheRam It is one the main justification for real oud and the other is high price.
@@TheHvq not entirely. Many fragrances . Even the ceo of scents of woods, they usually come out CLEAR, they’re later modified for coloration after the fragrance is being finalized
Cheers Rams, I would like to sniff the Roja line for sure but I know that will never happen,so I’m just content to listen to your take and the subscriber comments, “That’ll do donkey that’ll do “lol good old Shrek🤛👊💪
😂😂😂
Maybe one day you make it to Harrods and sniff some Rojas Bren
@@RamseytheRam they wouldn’t let me in Rams 🤣
🤣
Do you know if Adam’s Oud on fragrantica is Russian Adam?
I have never heard of that sorry
It's very hard to say if it has real oud, unless someone GCMS tested it and found agarspirol in it, and even if it had 2% real oud it woudn't be easy to detect, especially if it's the balsamic ones and not the animalic funky ones. But in 2011 including real oud would have been a gamble especially for batch consistency and why do that when you could just make an accord out of patchouli sandalwood guaiaca wood or cyprol, all easier to source and less susceptible to supply chain disruptions
Yes absolutely...I wish more brands would go the path of Les Indemodables and tell the market how much of each main note is included and at what percentages
@@RamseytheRam So true, still have to try their discovery set, I think I might like Oriental Velours or Chypre Azural, but for a similar price I'll get Danger parfum next
I remember reading that his oud fragrances are built on an oud accord (meaning no real oud in them). And if I remember correctly it was Roja himself who said this in an interview, but I might be wrong about that part.
Let's just be on the safe side and say that there is definitely no real oud in this, unless proven otherwise.
The reason it does stain is because there is colorant in it. Ci 12010 to be specific. People get fooled into believing that "the darker the juice, the richer the perfume". It is all marketing.
I believe this whole heartedly
I enjoy this, and Amber Aoud even more! Amazing review, absolutely spot on! I tried the new Roja - Lost in Paris, which goes for over 1k. God, he is bored or up to something we don't get yet. It's a gourmand, way too sweet for me that smells like a dessert on paper, idk on the skin yet, I was sampling other potential buys like Music for a while, which I loved, such a fun perfume. I will try the new Roja perfume another day to see if something changes, but so far, it smells like the retarded brother of Sweetie Aoud 🤣 Cheers!
🤣🤣🤣
These new releases every month are getting MUNDANE
I’ve smelled my fair share of artisanal rose-oud fragrances, and both Aoud and Amber Aoud are crap compared to them. Far too much geranium in both offerings which makes me question whether or not there’s much rose in there to begin with!
Yeah compared to the artisnal brands I agree....but I also must admit I like this ... I would wear it if someone gave it to me, otherwise my hard earned my would go to the Russian Adam's of the world
