Hey Ramsey, Gucci Guilty Absolute is still in production and can be bought on Sephora and other retailers.

I also got the grape aspect in this fragrance. For some reason I'm never a fan of the smell of grapes in fragrances. I feel as if this is the most designer smelling release from the brand. I was let down initially when Snelling this. However, a high quality designer smelling fragrance makes sense. There aren't many of them in the market. Les Indemodables uses high quality ingredients and often this aspect brings me back to the brand. Maybe this one will grow on me in the future.

I've been trying more chong amouages under your suggestion a couple months back, and this one surprised me a ton! So much so that i might have jumped the gun on a steal for one on a discounter 😂 Where reflection man kind of has that too adolescent bubblegummy sweetness and a bit of babypowder cleanliness (at least on my skin/my associations), portrayal has more of a mature and green earthiness while maintaining aspects of that soapy floral cleanliness...nowhere all that similar besides the cleanliness but i can see the use case for both being similar, if that makes sense. The next Pierre Negrin's on my chopping block for extended wearing are journey, then sunshine... Then the opuses.

Never smelled Dia but my SOTD is Gold Man. My Gold Man bottle is Amouage Perfumery LLC and lists oakmoss extract on the box. It smells very different from the new batches. Do you know when they switched from the “Perfumery LLC” to “SAOC”? 🙏🏼

My grand Ma had a Soir de Paris original bottle from the 30's. And it still smelled so good... But I was on Opium then😏🙏🌟

what a joy to watch this video! I probably have about 15 of these. It could have been all Amouage list for me :) it's difficult to fit all in 25. However, i would have liked to see Myths man & Music for a while in there too. Shem from Nishane is another one for me that belongs in this list

I smell almost a bandaid 🩹 type smell in Gucci guilty absolute.if you ever get a chance to smell zoologist t-Rex. There’s this new carpet pad smell once you smell you cannot get it out of your head. Oh and that mesquite barbecue smell. I think a city on fire from Imaginary Authors also has the bbq smell. There’s a few others like those two mentions. That have it as well. I guess it’s from combining a few notes that do it. Not a perfumer obviously. Orto Parisi Terroni kind of has it. Didn’t like the way that smelled at first. But I’ll be honest some days I crave that sort of thing.

Opus 11 is too rich with the aroma of majoram, which makes the perfume smell like gasoline.

Very cool review. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Rose Incense. It's such a beautiful creation. Old school Amouage at its best (I'm digging into Omanluxury's private collection right now and it's giving me huge Chong-era Amouage vibes!). About marjoram, Jorum Studio (if you're familiar with them) makes a fragrance called Carduus, based on a bunch of Scottish wild medical and savory herbs and the opening is basically like getting beaten with a bouquet garni of marjoram haha.

Looked up the Boka house, super interested in a review on those fragrances. A bit pricey but sounds great.

We really need to spam YSL (used to be called a letter writing campaign) to do an anniversary edition of Opium as close to its original formulation as legally possible. There is enough time for them to do the formulation, create the batches and have a release.

This is the one Library Collection fragrance I own. Got a sample early on in my collection and hated it. A couple of years later, I tried it again and almost immediately ordered a bottle, now that my nose had developed 😂. I'm going to wear this one today - it's a bit cool and raining outside, now, so I find this a fitting fragrance to wear. I really admire this one - there's something a bit posh behind this beast.

I sampled Interlude man (modern batch) and it truly smelled like the scene where Seth is crawling out of the transporter in ‘The Fly’. I’m going to let it sit to allow my nose to reconcile the leather in there but tell me what was your very first impression? It wasn’t utterly repulsive??

Yooo I have a nifty fifty of XI and I’m saving it for when I reach a new frontier in life. Really happy to own it but the wears aren’t exactly a nasal buffet if ykwim. Stoked you have XII 🐏 the modern bottle doesn’t burn your fingertips when holding? 😆

Appreciate you explaining the house of Estee Lauder! I had Tom Ford for Men Extreme, but at the time I took it for granted! Sorely missed. I had Tom Ford for Men, which was also great. Picking up a bottle of Lauder for Men, which I'm excited about! Thanks.

That's great that you got your hands on Boka! I love Zelen (it's my favorite take on haitian vetiver right now) and I'll probably be buying Suze in the spring after sampling it recently. They're expensive, but the scent profiles are there to back it up in my opinion.

Nice job, Ram! It’s such a difficult one to describe, but you did it justice. That said, especially if you have not smelled GGA, then I can’t imagine anyone could really know what to expect. I should know… one of the decant sites was discontinuing it, so I blind bought 30ml. Boy was I surprised! Should also say, I’ve never smelled GGA (yeah, I know. Revoke my membership card!). It smells like nothing I’ve experienced before or since. At first it was an instant regret, but then I kept going back and it crept up on me. I still rarely wear it, but it is an awesome creation in the literal sense. I pull it out, am awed and then put it away lol. Do you smell the styrax in it? I struggle to get that. As you say, the Leatherwood pretty much blocks out everything and the sun. Cheers!

Bro I had that old joop bottle I got for my birthday in the early to mid 90's and it was frickin nostalgic & u are sO correct it smelled sO good back then it had depth & layers to it it's nowhere near that today it's trash

I just got my nose on some Amouage at the beginning of the month, at Neiman Marcus. It was especially cool to try the Attars! I was overwhelmed with all the fragrances that I had never seen in person, let alone gotten to try! I hope I can go back soon; it's a few hours away, so I can't go that often.

Respectfully Ramsey the freshest bEST smelling clean luxurious exotic exclusive Italian soapy-ish scent from 1989 that still is the freshest til this day all the frag heads I follow & nOBODY is hip to this hidden GEM 💎 from Nina Rici it came out in 1989 & even at that time it was going for 330$u know thats astronomical price for back then sO that says alot in itself sO my 1ST time smelling it was in 1990 immediately as the scent hits ur nostrils u know ur smelling something super special & 1st thing came to mind is this the best thing ive ever smelled in mY life & ever going to smell it's discontinued and super rare especially to get the formulation I'm speaking on ill be deleting this comment after i know uve read it im not trying to make it harder to find than it already is lol
