The gloves weren’t magical, Elsa just believed that they stopped her powers which made her feel safe when wearing them, and that sense of safety is what helped her control her powers when they were on :) Elsa’s powers were completely dependent on her mental state. When she was afraid of them, hated herself and suppressed her powers that’s when she couldn’t control them, when she had the chance to explore them without fear she learned how to use them, and when an act of true love thawed Anna she finally completely understood them and that made her capable of having full control of them. Because understanding them took away the fear she had of them. So it wasn’t a “hug” that “fixed their problems”, it was all of that. Also we don’t know if it was Anna sacrificing herself for Elsa or Elsa’s hug and grief which saved Anna ;)
The fact that Nick said at the beginning being like “Who hasn’t seen frozen!?” and then continues to be confused about everything and then if makes it sound like he’s never seen this movie. 😂😂
The fact that Corey said “very Tarzan of them” not knowing about the theory that Anna and Elsa’s parents ARE Tarzan’s parents, actually survived, made it to shore and had a baby before being killed by a tiger 👀
@@nathancruz9172 note, I said “theory”!! I know it may not be true, but just commenting on the fact that a lot of people speculated about this online for years… but I haven’t seen frozen 2 so I didn’t know that actually! Thanks :)
In the north of the Nordics they're actually exclusively semi-domesticated! Reindeer herding is a big part of the culture of the indigenous Sámi people (which they heavily based a lot of elements in both of the Frozen movies, but especially Frozen 2 on) Wild reindeer exist further south in Norway, up in mountain areas like Hardangervidda and Dovre. There's also the smaller Svalbard reindeer on Svalbard, and the Finnish forest reindeer in the forests of Finland. And then there's actually several different types of reindeer called caribou in North-America. But the vast majority of reindeer in the world are probably the semi-domesticated ones in the north of the Nordics.
@@AW-xc1xc Yes, but for those Americans who only hear about reindeer in the context of Santa, they sometimes assume they're just as real as Santa and elves...just another part of the fairytale.
Love fixing everything actually makes sense in this movie, because in reality it's all about Elsa's emotions and mental state. It was her anxiety and how afraid she was of her powers which made them uncontrollable, but when she realized that her fear and anxiety were what made her powers act up she could change her mindset about them and control them with "love" instead of fear. The gloves weren't "magical" either, but because Elsa was told they will help control her powers when she was a child she felt a sense of safety every time she wore them, and hence she could control her powers with them on. The gloves never actually had the ability to stop her powers, it was her sense of safety when she wore them that did. Elsa is great representation for mental illness, she was so anxious and full of self hatred and fear of her powers that it controlled her, and hence her powers. The more mistakes she made, the more fearful, anxious and self hating she became, and that led her to have less control of her powers. The further she fell into that pit of self hatred, anxiety and fear, the less control she had of her powers which in turn made her mental state even worse, and it became an endless cycle of despair for her. During let it go she discovered that she could control her powers when she had the possibility of using them without having to be afraid and could freely explore them without hurting anyone, but she didn't know she had the power to reverse them yet. Her hug or Anna's sacrifice (we don't know whose act of love saved Anna, it's supposed to be ambiguous) only made her realize that she did have the power to reverse what she had done, as long as she controlled her powers with "love" and not with fear and anxiety which only makes her powers go out of control. When she realized this she wasn't afraid of her powers anymore, she finally understood them and how they worked and it made her able to use them without the same fear she had before. She understood that suppressing them, fearing them and pretending that they didn't exist wasn't the way to take control of them. (Also it’s 5am rn, english is my third and worst language and I’m having a hard time explaining, just know there’s more to it that could be explained and more eloquently but I can’t do so in english :’( )
the act of love was actually anna sacrificing herself to save elsa. it was kinda showing a new side of “an act of true love” since it was her own doing
collecting/selling ice was actually an important job back then, since freezers and refridgerators didn't exist. Ice was used for preserving food, stored mostly underground. But also a questionable job, since it was only possible to do in winter and at that time anyone could make their own ice :D . Long distance ice shipping ofcourse was not possible, only with extremely big blocks. Ships used to bring ice from nothern seas.
i think elsa is just misunderstood. she is not like anna who is loved by everyone and who is social. elsa was literally locked down in her room for years and years. it is so normal that she cannot control her emotions and its also normal that she struggles while commucinacting with people.
to understand how and why elsa (the first born child of the king and queen) got powers, you gotta watch the second movie and i can admit, its much better
Not sure how they can’t tell Anna had also been locked away in the castle, just not as isolated as Elsa in her room. However, Cory being spot on about Hans was crazy.
True story: my grandparents met the day before they were engaged….no arrangement or anything..they met at a concert with friends and he asked her to Hardee’s for breakfast the next morning and they got married❤
U know it wasn't because of the hug right? The answer it was that she gave her life up to protect Elsa and act of true love will thaw a frozen heart so she acted that way from her love to get sister
Sven is a raindeer, but moose calfs are about the size of foals. Grown moose are bigger than cars tho. Speaking as a Swede whose mom was once chased by a mama moose down the road by our house in the middle of town lol
8:18 "have you heard of horse girls" made me think of a thing i read a few months ago where yeah there was a horse girl who was into her horse. and it implied that's why horse girls are obsessed with horses. yeah i read a lot of weird shit but that one kinda changed my perspective on horse girls, which is very bad because my sister used to be a horse girl
Missed a lot of crucial points of the movie bc they kept on talking unnecessary things. Like when he said “why are you making it snow inside the castle” which signifies that he doesn’t actually understand the scene. They were just watching what’s on the screen without understanding it. All the commentary were useless and pointless lmao
Like YOU thought anna unfrozed herself because of a HUG??? Really?? A HUG??? Didn’t you see she sacrifice herself?? And he even asked “why is she turning ice?” Like the trolls literally said it was gonna happen
I know kel'thuzad! He was a mage who turned to necromancy, sold his soul to Ner'Zuhl, practiced necromancy and founded the cult of the damned, got murdered by a prince, who was then corrupted and resurrected kel'thuzad as a lich.
Noobs. I have a twin sister and our parents use to make so many jokes and references to this movie. I’m a Disney fan til the ages. Elsa is a badass. She’s like so OP. 3:34 It’s explained in the sequel. 11:03 Anna is 18 and Elsa is 21. 28:56 The real life Pocahontas Is from Virginia and Disney adapted Pocahontas’ life. Frozen was a Phenomenon in my childhood. 0:45 Geez. 4:55 Baptism. 4:59 Anna Wasn’t a menace to society so why was she locked up. Also This movie is a lot like Wicked, Both Main characters are played by Idina Menzel, Both have powers, Both Misunderstood, both are sisters. 5:17 Snow White is the one with the poison Apple and The fairest of them all. 6:55 That was like a whole theory until the sequel. Edit: 26:14 That’s What It Looked like outside for the past 3 days, It’s was Heavy Snow and it was foggy.

The fact that Corey said “very Tarzan of them” not knowing about the theory that Anna and Elsa’s parents ARE Tarzan’s parents, actually survived, made it to shore and had a baby before being killed by a tiger 👀

Also in Frozen at the begging when Anna is singing and people are walking in you can see repunzal.
Yes, Nick. Reindeers are real. You can find them in the wild in Northern Norway, Sweden and Finland
They're also the same animal as caribou which you can find in the U.S. and Canada...
In the north of the Nordics they're actually exclusively semi-domesticated! Reindeer herding is a big part of the culture of the indigenous Sámi people (which they heavily based a lot of elements in both of the Frozen movies, but especially Frozen 2 on)

Swede here, I'm a little speechless that they didn't know🥲 They're Americans, right? They should at least know reindeers from Santa and all that?
