How did you get to lather up the Reuzel shave cream with a brush, I wonder?
I have the shave cream and find it impossible to lather with any kind of brush, whether it be badger, boar or synthetic.
Is there any technique to lather the cream in an efficient way?

In the military i used to shave daily. Now that i am out its hard to grow anything over 7 days. Its just a weird feeling that will never go away.

King Gillette should be remembered for one thing: His Patent Safety Razor made shaving SAFE.
Shaving with a cut throat razor carried (and still does) the risk of tetanus. Which is why you take such pains to teach your trainee 's the paramount importance of hygiene.

Interesting.. Feather SS Artist Club it seems. Probably the most unlike a straight razor from the Feather line. The SS has that little "bump" to make it easier for beginners to use.. in theory that the bump provides the proper angle and prevents you cutting yourself. They may have been using this to train the lady. The DX I think is the one most like a proper straight, and the SR is sort of like a happy medium. To be fair, a lot of countries don't allow barbers to use a straight razor, for hygiene reasons, blood borne disease transmission etc, so we are often forced to these replaceable edge straight razors. They do have their places.. you know, you can just change a blade and saves all sterilizing, honing, stropping in between customers. The Artist Club blades are very good in my experience. Always a brilliant edge on them. Honestly I like them. Feather do make a great blade. Their DE are great also.

Real barbers don't were costumes, they roll up their sleeves, many the are wearing an white workingvest, the best barbers you find on the streets, just like shoepollisers.
And they use old products, not those rifraf- things.
And the talks are free. Story's to tell.
