Another great video! Love it! P.S. Don't really worry about the terminator. It's basically just a placebo for when you're having problems. I've worked in stage lighting for over 10 years and ran shows from a single universe to shows with 50+ universes and never used a terminator and never had an issue. I've also never had an issue that a terminator solved.
Hi good work you seem to know the light well. Would you have an idea of how to fix a beam 230 that the bulb keeps turning off after about 5 minutes, have replaced the bulb, ?? much appreciate any advise. Thank you Clint
Awesome video. I have the same fixtures. Quick question, if you don't mind me asking. I'm assuming the fixtures at 9:52 are the beams. How are you getting that cone shape beam? Everything on my fixtures is a narrow beam, I'd like to be able to widen the beam into that cone shape! The beam fixtures are great for the price point, but just having the little thin beams gets boring after a while. EDIT: So I'm guessing since the fixtures weren't working, the lights that I'm referring to are actually spots and not beams, which explains the beam shape. Thanks Can't wait to see more videos!
Hi there! Those are, indeed, different fixtures in the clips. Focus Spot 4Zs, specifically. My workhorses. Still waiting for a show to take the beams out on a show, believe it or not. The 4Zs are just so impactful that I don't often need more. I'm hoping I'll have the whole rig out at the next show. Maybe I'll have a little rig rundown action? We'll see... Keep an eye out!

Hi there! Unfortunately I don't run MyDMX anymore. I'm sure someone has created a profile for this fixture or one very similar to it. The profile editor for MyDMX and all the other Nicolaudie software is REALLY good. I'm sure one could be put together really easily. I did put together a rough GDTF profile that's available on the GDTF share as "Ridgeyard Beam230" if that helps. Thanks for watching!

Have you figured out what values on channel 16 turn the lamp on/off? I can only get it to reset with channel 16..
