Beau doesn't owe anyone anything. It has literally officially become a business now. He needs to do what is best for him, and if that benefits your team, great. So many people have spouted crap like loyalty, like he hasn't stuck around and played the backup role (and done it well) for 3 years. If he sucked, these are the same people who would be telling Franklin to cut/bench/send him to the portal. We were lucky to have 2 QBs in the same class be willing to work together for this long. College football has become the job market. Job hopping is normal so get used to it.
Beau made a dramatic difference in the offense when he came into the game. He will be greatly missed but he will find a home where he can start and not warm the bench.
I certainly wish the best for Beau. Can't blame him for leaving. With better WRs Allar would be a Heisman winner. Maybe not the ceiling of other players , just like Warren is for PSU this year.
I wish all the best to beau. Just understand if alar has to come out of the game for any reason, penn state has no one with any game experience to put in. Im sure smu and Boise st are well aware of the situation
Just watched his highlights and I don't see a strong arm by nfl standards, didn't see him throw into nfl windows, and definitely not fast of great moves. Slow hips in the nfl
@@jericho3774boy it's a good thing you're not an NFL scout. Absolutely has an NFL arm, the size GM's dream of, pocket awareness got much better this season and has a high football IQ. Biggest issues I see with him is throwing with anticipation and ball placement. 2 things he can get better at by coming back another year.
This team still needs a twitchy speed guy that can work from multiple positions and excel at YAC. Deonte Ross from Troy and Kendrick Law from Alabama come to mind.
We know Penn State has great football players and Wrestlers but us fans want to see the Basketball Ladies n men teams get much better then they look right now. These teams are playing in the big ten these teams should be way more competitive in the big ten
I think you’re looking at this wrong. Obviously it would be better if Beau stayed. However, it clears things up as to what you have and simplifies things going forward. Of course the concern of injury, But it’s one guy from a team and it wasn’t a starter. PS will be fine.

Is that a serious question ? He has a NFL arm, moves BETTER than half of the started now in the NFL. That is with below average COLLEGE WR’s.

Yep. Someone who can sprint past DBs, not just get open from schemes or busted coverage.
