Please never apologize for taking too long😊 I wish you brethren would take 2 hours! I have no one to talk (with or to) gospel with.... I hunger for your teachings and inspiration and the spiritual influence I feel from these discussions...please take 2 or 3 hours

I love Tyler and Taylor too! Listen to them every week along with all the other BOMC teachers since I don't have anyone to discuss gospel principles in my home anymore as well. One other great TH-cam teacher is Jared Halverson on UNSHAKEN. I don't know if Taylor and Jared are related but they are both awesome teachers! You might enjoy his channel as well.

My family and I have been watching these programs every Sunday for two years now and have learned so much! We really appreciate all that you are giving us and hope you will continue through all of the scriptures if at all possible. Having these insights make a big difference in understanding what we really NEED to know.

Loved what he said about the temples !
You don’t have to be perfect in order to enter the temple ! You just have to be willing to become like the savior !
Heavenly Father loves you for the daughter/son of god you are !
    Never forget your worth 😊

My favorite part of the Boise Idaho Temple dedicatory prayer:
We thank Thee that Thou did reveal Thy priesthood, even the sacred sealing power, so that in this temple and all Thy other holy houses, Thy faithful Saints may be endowed with power from on high and may enter into everlasting covenants.
Father, we seek to be like Thee. We seek to pattern our lives after the life of Thy Son. We desire righteousness for ourselves and our children and our children's children. We plead with Thee to make us worthy to inherit the fulness of those blessings found only in Thy holy temples-even those blessings which grow out of a continuation of the family unit forever.

Please do tell Ken thank you for his testimony when sharing his thoughts & experiences. I felt for him what he talked about his sixpennies cufflinks. So sweet. I was born in the 70's but I do remember a half penny which was worth less than a penny but I was able to buy sweets with several half pennies. Thank you to Tyler and Taylor for your wonderful lesson today.

Totally blown away by this beautiful presentation. Wow, you think you know enough about something, until more study comes along. The next time I go to the temple, I am going to approach it in a reverent manner . I have always been respectful of the temple and the temple grounds, but after watching this, and completing the readings, I have a newfound appreciation for the Lord's holy house. The saints who experienced these heavenly interactions were very lucky ❤️

Thank you for the wonderful lesson from D&C 109 & 110. This is the best year of studying The D&C I have ever had. I love The D&C.
I have been an active member of The Church all of my 70 +years and I love Come Follow Me lessons and Book of Mormon Central Lessons. I feel so blessed to have learned what I have, it has answered so many questions. I wish it had been time for these lessons in my youth, my parents raised us before the time of President Benson and the know your religion classes and the emphasis on reading The Book of Mormon.
How blessed we are today understand better the tender mercies of The Lord - how I wish my parents could have known and in braced the knowledge and understanding of The Gospel being poured out to us at this time. Knowing of what they and we went through is really why this blessed time of learning means so very much to me. I suppose then I must instead of morning - rejoice and thank The Lord for His wonderful Blessings and I do.
In The Sacred Name of Jesus Christ Amen.

I love the type of the plan of salvation. Abraham's family didn't just go down to Egypt, but he started in Ur, which I understand has the same root as urim...meaning light. Abraham came from light before his descendants live through the type of God's plan. So powerful!

Greetings from Phoenix. I have just been released as an ordinance worker, having served for over nine years in two temples (Mesa and Gilbert). I learned great respect for ordinances while I served, but will have even more reverence for them as I go back as a patron. Thank you for pointing out some lesser known and even hidden meanings in the scriptures regarding temples.

It is so interesting that Shem means name and that it was substituted at times for the name of the Lord. There are some who believe that Melchizedek was Shem. It is fascinating to consider that we use the name of Melchizedek, ( which means King of Righteousness--who was the King of Salem--which means peace so he was also the King of Peace) as a substitute for the name of Christ when we refer to the higher priesthood.
This episode also invites me to ponder on why some ordinances are done solely in the name of Jesus, but others are done on the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. There was much to feast on and digest today. Thank you!

How to choose only one concept in this. Power comes by the name of Jesus. Sacrifice brings forth the blessings of heaven. I watched Elder Ballard’s talk on sacrifice. This year and study has reinforced my faith so much. Thank you for your lessons. I love it all! “A religion that does not require the sacrifice of all earthly things….., “. I have been looking for that reference.

Many times when I share with a non-member friend that I'm going to the Temple, I so want to say something more than it's location. (The Portland Temple). After discussion about "the name," I would really like to say something like, the temple of the Most High God; or Holiness to the Lord. Or even The Temple of Jesus Christ Maybe some day. Just a thought.

Thank you so much for sharing the original verse from "The Spirit of God" and the accounts of angelic singing. I noticed in section 109:79 that the same wording from the refrain of the hymn is used in the prayer. Which came first? I know the prayer was given by revelation to the prophet, I believe the night before the dedication. If the hymn was sung at the dedication it must have been written at least a few days before so the choir could practice. I know they were both given by revelation, but was curious to know which came first.

I love Book of Mormon Central and all it offers me as I strive to know and understand the gospel. I have one question about the statement in the heading of Section 109 where it says the prayer was received by revelation but it seemed like it was written by Joseph and a team of other church authorities? Can you give me a better understanding of how the dedicatory prayer came to be?

I didn’t know that angels were visible, why do you think, with all the temples being built today, that we don’t experience angels now? I wish I could get answers but it isn’t possible with the loss of our visiting teacher program, there is no one to have discussions with anymore sadly.
