No loss on the butterfly. Got a great opportunity to see design build, bead skills, and color application. Blown away by the huge sunflower! Can see myself creating the smaller stepping-stone but balk on the larger one. Maybe it's just a size thing that's letting my mind drift to "I can't" on the larger one? Shut up mind! Like most things in life, I'll grow from something small to something bigger over time. Enjoying the process along the way. Thank you again and again for your wonderful instruction, inspiration and support.
Thanks! Try putting a border on the stepping stone. It will reduce the size of your design and make it more managable! My mind keeps telling me I should be finished with projects I'm only half-way done with! Shut up mind! I need to work at my own pace.
Thank you so much for showing your techniques. Also for showing a project you didn’t “ love” . It’s nice to know not everything turns out perfect even for a pro like you . Your videos are the best ! Love love love the sunflower project !
Big fan of yours, somewhat close by, in St. Augustine, Florida. I know that the sunflowers aren't even finished yet, but if this piece doesn't already have a home, I'd love to purchase it (after the juried exhibition, of course). I'd just love ❤ to look at it every day in my home.
Stepping stone 👌👌👌 can't wait to see more of them as promised by you. Agree with you - this butterfly 🦋 Okie Dokie. But the 🌻 are awesome - they look so very realistic and the touches of blue are fantastic. Is the sunflower project a commission or for your own self - I seem to have forgotten. Looking forward to next Monday 😍
Fantabulous!! Thank you for standing the sunflowers up. Love seeing the depth of your composition. Julie, where do you purchase your glass beads that are strung in bulk?
I thought the butterfly was adorable. Sometimes we get used to complicated, and, simple can seem like we haven't done enough. The beauty is in the simplicity. Sunflowers are looking great, I wish I could say the same for my mountains (having a hard time with the reflection on the lake). Thank you for another video to kick my butt out of procrastination... back to the studio...lol
Reflections can be tricky for sure! Are you in the Facebook group Mosaic Mentoring? Jacque Towner has just finished some herons with reflections that are sublime!
New sub is here. What’s the black putty you’re using? Thanks for your videos, I’m learning a great deal and will be starting this craft soon! Hugz, Tree
I’m watching episode 96 for the 3rd time and I’m still learning from you. Thank you for what you do Julie.
You are so welcome!
Bellisimos!!! Cada vez mas lindos esos girasoles!!! Y esas hojas tan reales!!!😱 Bellisimo trabajo!!! 👌👏👏👏🤗❤❤❤
Thank you so much!
I love what you created, but agree, I do not trust plastic! 💕
Right?!?
It turned out beautiful, but like you, I shun plastic beads. It is a great learning curve to hear that from you! 🙏💕
Right? Better off donating them to someone that might use them!
I’m an absolute newbie to this. Your work is very inspirational. I like that you do some simple pieces for folks like me who don’t have a clue.
Awesome, thank you!
Beautiful 💗 thank you for sharing friend! Well done ✅
Thank you! Cheers!

I find that you are inspiring by the variety of what you create! Even the butterfly! 💕
Thanks so much. Sometimes it is a problem focusing on one thing!

Thank you! The sunflowers are for a juried exhibition coming up.
Does that mean there's to be some rating as in competition!!!??? All the Best 👍💯
@@rupashukla5916 That means it goes through a jury process to be in the exhibit, and the top three pieces of art win a prize!
Yea.. though all artists always put it their best I still wish for you to be The One 😌
Thank you! I’ll be happy to be accepted. (Winning would be over the top!)

Hi, Ms Mazzini. Question: is GE Advanced Silicone 2 what is being used to glue the pieces onto the stone? Thank you!
Yes. I try to put that information in the video description. I can no longer find that type and have switched to GE Supreme Silicone in the blue tube.
Thank you! @@mazzonimosaics8222
The butterfly might look greater if you added some red and orange maybe some yellow. I love it anyways. 😑🥰
Yes! So many possibilities, so little time!
@@mazzonimosaics8222 I think we all need either more time or more hands laol....

Thanks for watching! I'm using Apoxie Sculpt by Aves on the butterfly.
