The sunflowers are looking fabulous and l love Maxwells project of the ice cream and sprinkles. That’s such a creative piece, l hope we get to see more of that as well. 😊
The sunflowers with that bright blue sky 😍 love the way you added hints of green and orange in the sky. Love Love the stepping stones and the glass on glass is something I want to try next! Thank you for your videos!!!
You have such lovely flowers around your home. Thank you for sharing...I'm thinking the colors allow your artistic eye to transpose nature's colors into your mosaics. Your pieces are simply stunning! ✨️💖💥❤
I love how you incorporate different colors in the sky. I really wouldn't have thought about doing that. The sunflowers look like they're painted with oils. I think it's great your son, Max likes working in mosaics. Very imaginative, the ice cream cone with sprinkles.
@@speedmom1702 He is interested more now than when he did the 4-H project. Every once in a while. He finished an angler fish in this video: th-cam.com/video/54ge3RQmefo/w-d-xo.html
Oh the sunflowers! Just spectacular! Was very interested in how you did the sky. I always do it the same old boring way using squares and rectangles. Thank you so much for another helpful video! 😁♥️ Oh and love the steppingstone! I’m going to make me one!
Julie LOVE the orange and green speckled blue sky. Glass on glass 😍 and the stepping stones delightful. Looking forward to the orange flowered one too. When is the juried exhibition? Can't wait to see the other exhibits too 🙂
Such beautiful work…you should be proud of yourself Julie…I love your techniques..so inspiring and your guest? Wow! I love the ice cream cone…so fun to see how talented he is!❤️😍
The sunflower is phenomenal! I really enjoy watching all your projects and color choices. Thanks again - beautiful work. I don’t think I ever heard you say if you make or buy your pavers for stepping stones .
Everything that you do is so beautiful! I was wondering where you got your pink tile & really all your tile. I haven't been able to find too many colors
I love watching you work. Question: are you layering some of the glass of the flowers? There is another artist that teaches that way and it kind of looks on some of the petals that they are layered glass on some of the glass. Just curious. I tried it with a little mandala, but I wasn't happy with how it turned out when grouted.
Your mosaics are beautiful. I just began to do mosaics. I have been a stained/leaded and fusing glass artist for years and have accumulated a ton of scraps. I am wondering though what is the base you are using? I'm using thin masonite. Thank you Teresa
Make sure you get the one for outdoor. The product data sheet says it can withstand freeze/thaw cycles. You have to apply above freezing. It says on the back service temp. -60 to 400 degrees F.

He’s been talking about the ice cream for a while. I’m just happy to help him make it!
Your sunflowers are terrific, with such nice shading. How innovative your son was with his substrate and the sprinkles. Great job Maxwell.
Thanks so much Cindy!
I find your work so inspiring! Your thinking thinking behind color choice is very helpful. Thank you for sharing your expertise.

@@mazzonimosaics8222 Wow, really? Did he take art or did he just start doing mosaics because it interested him?
He made one for 4-H in 2009 and it made me itch to make one myself.

Jennifer had some old new stock on hand. Some came from WitsEnd Mosaic and some from Sherri Warner Hunter.
Beautiful work! What glue do you use for glass on glass?
I used GE II Silicone. MAC glue is another good option.
@@mazzonimosaics8222 Thank you, I did buy some mac glue but so expensive

Thank you! I am not layering any of the glass on the petals.
💕
Thanks for watching!
Nice! how will you hang the GOG piece?
Good question! I'm not hanging it. I'm using it as a dish!

Wonderful! I am using Go Board for the sunflowers project. It is available in the U.S. in single 36"x60" sheets from The Tile Shop.

Can I use that glue in very cold freezing weather? I mean the stepping stone
