    One isn't in prison until after sentencing and transported to one. A prison is where one serves out a sentence of 1 year or longer. He spoke out from jail while awaiting adjudication. It's a simple concept but so many people are ignorant of the distinction.

    Keith is the type who was a nerdy geek in school that was made fun of. So as an adult he needs to be ‘worshipped’ to feel validated as a human. I am shocked how any woman was sexually attracted to him. It is great he is now in prison where he belongs. My heart goes out to all the people this man abused and humiliated.

    Every woman who held down a victim should go to jail.

    • @dahawk8574
      @dahawk8574 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My understanding is that all women who got branded volunteered to do this. And that the ceremony, as conducted, required each woman to ask to be branded, expressing how they consider it to be an honor. And the role of those other women who held down their limbs was NOT for any purpose of restraining them against their will. They did that for the purpose of minimizing reflexive limb movements which would have interfered with the process.
      So what you're calling for strikes me as being akin to sending midwives to prison for their role in assisting in the delivery of a baby. Or an assistant at a tattoo prior who holds a paying customer' limbs still, so that the artwork will not get botched.

    I'm just not sure Mr. 240 IQ Man understands how SENTENCING works in this soundbite -- this phase of the American criminal adversarial system has nothing to do with "the devil and the saint getting the exact same treatment." KR is making more of a reference to TRIAL rights, e.g. innocent until proven guilty, reasonable doubt, privilege against self-incrimination, right to a fair and impartial jury, equal protection under the law, due process, etc.
    During *sentencing* however, once the trial is all over, and the jury has convicted, the defendant is now in the *penalty phase.* Because each case is totally different, the judge gets to consider all relevant facts and circumstances, including victim statements, prior record, case facts, harm caused, aggravators and mitigation, probation's presentence investigation report etc., when determining a defendant's sentence in accordance with scoresheet guidelines.
    That being said, a "saint" (i.e. a defendant perhaps with no prior record and maybe not very bad facts in his case) who happens to be found guilty of a crime is likely not going to receive the same sentence as a "devil" (a defendant with maybe some prior record or prior bad acts and bad facts in his case).
    To elaborate, if KR was suggesting here, prior to his (120 year) sentencing, that he was hoping the federal judge was going to give him "the exact same treatment" as a "saint -- essentially operating under the assumption that the judge was going to see him as an "odious...awful...devil" -- then, uh, he was probably dreaming. 'Nuff said homie.
