Get yourself some familiar children’s books in French. This helped me out a lot with learning and understanding the language and I also got to read them to my kids😊
Hello, As a French person, I think this flat is very nice and the overall decoration looks rather like a French home. However, I think it's more of an old flat that the owners wanted to renovate and modernise rather than a classic flat in the "rules" of classic French architecture. These are details don't worry and as you said yourself in the video, you can't know that if you've never been in a French home. In fact, first of all, you have to know that in classic French homes, each room has its own functionality and mainly in flats. To visualise, it is often a big flat with lots of different small rooms each separated from the other. For example, the toilet is always in a separate room from the bathroom, except for very small studios where there is not enough space. Then, for the shower, you made a walk-in shower. It's really a tiny detail, but in general, if people have one in their homes, it's because they've done some renovations, because the French take their shower in the bathtub. Basically it's the shower from the Mount Komorebi pack that hangs on the wall above the bath. And finally, for the kitchen, well... you've done a typical American kitchen. Here, the kitchen is a closed room separated from the others. It also has no central island (where you put the sink). If the kitchen is big enough, there is sometimes a table which is not used for eating but as a work surface. Of course, I'm not denigrating your work at all, I really like what you've done! I've only explained how classic French homes are shaped overall in terms of architecture because I thought you might be interested in knowing these little things ;) And for sims youtubers who are french speakers there are Kapands (french), NS (french), Pixia (french), Cassielle (french) and BellePinte (belgian) they all are game changers but I recommend Cassielle to start with because she speaks more slowly than the others :D

Duolingo is great!! just keep consistent and watch shows with the language just turn closed captions on!! its a great way to learn context. Try talking to yourself in that language- if you cant talk to someone in that language then you gotta talk to yourself! While i was learning french i found that narrating my day was a great way to learn and remember the words.
i study linguistics and french at college (and i’ve been taking french since middle school) and one big piece of advice i preach is learn basic grammar first! it’ll help everything make more sense in the long run. that’s why personally i’m not the biggest fan of duolingo since it just gives you random sentences and words without explaining the “why” behind it; like why does “je mange une pomme” mean “i eat an apple”? that’s what you wanna have a basic understanding of. i hope that makes sense!
First of all, you’re Parisian Apartement is absolutely stunning ! 👏👏 As a French person, I recommend Pixia, NS and BellePinte, they are French TH-camr Sims (one of them is Belgian). They're very entertaining to watch, and they all have different aesthetic towards construction, CAS or gameplay. Learning a foreign language is not easy, but I try to see it as a game: first we learn grammar and conjugation (the rules) and then vocabulary (which helps us progress in this game) . I watched a lot of TH-cam videos, movies and TV shows in English, trying to immerse myself in the language as much as possible, and I learned a lot more that way than in school. You will no doubt encounter some difficulties with comprehention, especially with accents, for me, for example, it is the New York accent that gives me the most difficulty in English. I wish you good luck in your learning French and hope it will help you. 😊

I know this is a difficult langage but it has its own logic. Learning with series, music or children books is really good because you can mix it with your hobbies. French comic books are fab. There’s a pretty big comic culture actually. Les profs is my fave. It’s basically french highschool shenanigans and teachers who just super done with both the students and the education system. I also recommend Mes Aieux (a québécois music group). My favourite song is La difference. And there’s a line in Dégénérations where the band happily sings “your great great grandmother had 14 kids, your great grandmother had nearly as many, your grandmother had 3 that was enough, and as for you? Your mother didn’t want you, you were a mistake/accident.” And it just gets me everytime lol
I also like the comic KidPaddle though I acknowledge that it is probably 90% sound effects and therefore probably not super helpful for learning French but maybe good for beginners. Very easy to follow the visuals
Pimsleur - I live in France now and it has been better than any language learning software I’ve used it truuuuuly helps. It will get you speaking French so fast.

Hi! I feel like the best for learning a new language is practice and immersion! So probably watching french shows and movies or looking for a french person to talk to! Also, consistency!! Since you won’t be using it naturally in your day to day life, reviewing things and practicing is important so you don’t loose the things you already learned! I hope this helps 😊
Unfortunately console companies wouldn’t ever allow modding on any game bc it’s a closed kind of platform. Even the sims can’t fix that it’s all on companies like the ones that own Xbox and PlayStations. And it would open up consoles to more hacking and viruses and ruin them. Sucks but hey at least base game stuff is fun still. Same goes for Minecraft! Anyways this is a stunning build as always. And I enjoy your cc builds!! Thank you for the content!! His CC reminds me a lot of Harrie's CC, still very beautiful CC indeed. :) I remember playing the Sims 3 you didn't need any mods to change out windows and stuff when re furnishing an apartment, I think the devs for the sims 4 need to step up their game and allow us to do the same, as well as use or even create balconies and small patios on existing apartments...there's only a select few balconies I know that you can decorate and use in San Myshuno, the other ones you can't even go out on them let alone decorate them.
I used to live in Paris and when I first moved there I knew 0 french but my teachers told me to use Duolingo and it helped A TON!! Even practicing conversing with others can build up your skill (:

Hi im from France , you said you didn't go inside a Parisian appartement before? that's okay! I think Parisian appartements have a bit more brown and less modernity but a really cute style! really nice recreation just try adding a bit more brown palate and this old feel but that looks good if you're looking to do the modern Parisian. If your thinking about going in a unmodern home then it's not as good idea. so it's sure its good to make kind of cute when you can make it cute and that's what you did but just do a bit more brown as i said. Keep those cc you can do a real parisian thing with this! also the creator almost has the same name as me! KEPP THOSE CC ther awesome! Lovely video.

Bonjour, je viens du Canada et le français est ma langue maternelle. Je suis ta chaine depuis plusieurs années déjà, bravo! Je conseille de commencer comme avec n'importe quelle langue que l'on veut apprendre. Les verbes les plus courants et ensuite des mots de base que l'on utilise régulièrement. Ne soit pas trop cruelle envers toi-même, j'ai toujours entendu dire que le français est l'une des langues les plus difficiles à apprendre. Moi, j'apprend l'allemand sur Duolingo, donc bonne chance à moi également ;) haha Bref, J'ADORE cet appartement, simplement magnifique!

This is gorgeous!! I took French all through high school. I could read and write it and my pronunciation was great but I never could speak fluently. I still remember some conversational things and songs lol. I need to get back into it.
I think a pensionnaire would have tall, narrow windows maybe with a Juliet balcony. Walls of plaster. Little furniture, just necessities and no built-in cupboards. You have created a pretty space which is faintly European...I still like it!

Hi! I'm part of your french audience! 😊 First of all, amazing appartment! And the CC is very well made, waw. I would have put some seperate toilets for a french build, we tend to have that a lot here (although it's true it is not mendatory). Concerning tips to learn french (or any other language really) on your own I would advice to be as much in contact with french as possible, even if you don't understand it (or don't understand all of it) Whether it's by listening or reading it (both is better, of course). I did that with the english language, and it's quite amazing the progress you can make like that! Children's books are an amazing start, and french movies or tv-shows with english subtitles at first can be very helpful too! If you're curious about some french speaking sims youtubers, I would recommend - NS -, BellePinte, Pixia and Kapands (she has an ongoing sim story entirely done with machinimas called Starlight with english subtitles), but if you're at the beginning of your journey to learn french, it's probably going to be a bit hard for you to understand them (and that's totally normal). I mean... I am french AND have a degree in french literature... and it's still hard for me sometimes 😂 Bon courage ! 😉
I use Pimsleur during my commute, and the last time I went I felt like I could actually hold conversations naturally with people in France. 4 years of Spanish in High School, and I never had any confidence with it.
I use Duolingo to learn spanish but i am studying french, for french you should listen to a little bit of french speaking every day (music, radio, shows, movies) It really helps if you put on subtitles in french as well as it helps you know what they’re saying in french. I find it easier to read than hear :)
I'm also learning French with Duo Lingo at the moment, and I love it! I've learnt so much more using the app than I did in French class! Although we learn languages at a late age in the UK, hopefully, that will change. I listen to some French music such as: "Claudio Capeo" and anything by "Fréro Delavega"I find remembering sentences easier if there' a tune with it! :)

I studied Mandarin for 2 years in Denmark and got a 7 on my exam. The Sensor (person at the exam besides the teacher) was from China and only talked Mandarin to me. She started using words my teacher haven't taught us jet, but luckily I had been using Duolingo on the side so I could guess what she was saying and I was right. I was so nervous but came out feeling like I've just gotten an A+.

It's a luxurious Parisian apartment though! However, when it is that luxurious, usually the toilet is in a separate room with a small sink and not in the bathroom. Otherwise, it is really gorgeous and it does look a bit French :) Love your content

Love what you did with your build, but, as a parisian myself, let's just say though the furniture feel indeed very french, the apartment is way too big to be an average parisian apartment (it would be a very fancy, very posh apartment, for very rich people). As for french TH-camrs, i strongly recommend Bellepinte (she's belgian but francophone, her builds are awesome), NS (her LP's are often hilarious) and Kapands (her LP's are amazing, and she has a series of machinimas named Starlight, that is subbed in english)

I love duolingo. I’ve been catching up with german that I used to take back in highschool and now I’m dedicated to maintaining my 94 day streak lol

Hi im from France , you said you didn't go inside a Parisian appartement before? that's okay! I think Parisian appartements have a bit more brown and less modernity but a really cute style! really nice recreation just try adding a bit more brown palate and this old feel but that looks good if you're looking to do the modern Parisian. If your thinking about going in a unmodern home then it's not as good idea. so it's sure its good to make kind of cute when you can make it cute and that's what you did but just do a bit more brown as i said. Keep those cc you can do a real parisian thing with this! also the creator almost has the same name as me! KEPP THOSE CC ther awesome! Lovely video.

As long as you’re consistent Duolingo really helps. I picked up on some German phrases, but I didn’t continue lol definitely helpful tho
Bonjour, je viens du Canada et le français est ma langue maternelle. Je suis ta chaine depuis plusieurs années déjà, bravo! Je conseille de commencer comme avec n'importe quelle langue que l'on veut apprendre. Les verbes les plus courants et ensuite des mots de base que l'on utilise régulièrement. Ne soit pas trop cruelle envers toi-même, j'ai toujours entendu dire que le français est l'une des langues les plus difficiles à apprendre. Moi, j'apprend l'allemand sur Duolingo, donc bonne chance à moi également ;) haha
Bref, J'ADORE cet appartement, simplement magnifique!

This is gorgeous!! I took French all through high school. I could read and write it and my pronunciation was great but I never could speak fluently. I still remember some conversational things and songs lol. I need to get back into it.

I think a pensionnaire would have tall, narrow windows maybe with a Juliet balcony. Walls of plaster. Little furniture, just necessities and no built-in cupboards. You have created a pretty space which is faintly European...I still like it!
I'm French and i'm pleased to see you want to learn our langage. Maybe you could upload Rosetta Stone to learn French. It's a great application for langages. I have exactly the same dryer rack!! And this parisian appartment is very elegant and cosy.

Hi! I'm part of your french audience! 😊 First of all, amazing appartment! And the CC is very well made, waw. I would have put some seperate toilets for a french build, we tend to have that a lot here (although it's true it is not mendatory).
Concerning tips to learn french (or any other language really) on your own I would advice to be as much in contact with french as possible, even if you don't understand it (or don't understand all of it) Whether it's by listening or reading it (both is better, of course). I did that with the english language, and it's quite amazing the progress you can make like that! Children's books are an amazing start, and french movies or tv-shows with english subtitles at first can be very helpful too!
If you're curious about some french speaking sims youtubers, I would recommend - NS -, BellePinte, Pixia and Kapands (she has an ongoing sim story entirely done with machinimas called Starlight with english subtitles), but if you're at the beginning of your journey to learn french, it's probably going to be a bit hard for you to understand them (and that's totally normal).
I mean... I am french AND have a degree in french literature... and it's still hard for me sometimes 😂

Another great cc creator is Little Dica, he has done a Kitchen pack with Deligracy, along with other other packs he created.
I use Pimsleur during my commute, and the last time I went I felt like I could actually hold conversations naturally with people in France. 4 years of Spanish in High School, and I never had any confidence with it.
I use Duolingo to learn spanish but i am studying french, for french you should listen to a little bit of french speaking every day (music, radio, shows, movies) It really helps if you put on subtitles in french as well as it helps you know what they’re saying in french. I find it easier to read than hear :)

I'm also learning French with Duo Lingo at the moment, and I love it! I've learnt so much more using the app than I did in French class! Although we learn languages at a late age in the UK, hopefully, that will change.
I listen to some French music such as: "Claudio Capeo" and anything by "Fréro Delavega"I find remembering sentences easier if there' a tune with it! :)

I studied Mandarin for 2 years in Denmark and got a 7 on my exam. The Sensor (person at the exam besides the teacher) was from China and only talked Mandarin to me. She started using words my teacher haven't taught us jet, but luckily I had been using Duolingo on the side so I could guess what she was saying and I was right. I was so nervous but came out feeling like I've just gotten an A+.

And yes, in Europe tumble dryers aren't really a thing, they're mostly just hung up or thrown on radiators in Winter

It's a luxurious Parisian apartment though! However, when it is that luxurious, usually the toilet is in a separate room with a small sink and not in the bathroom. Otherwise, it is really gorgeous and it does look a bit French :) Love your content

Love what you did with your build, but, as a parisian myself, let's just say though the furniture feel indeed very french, the apartment is way too big to be an average parisian apartment (it would be a very fancy, very posh apartment, for very rich people). As for french TH-camrs, i strongly recommend Bellepinte (she's belgian but francophone, her builds are awesome), NS (her LP's are often hilarious) and Kapands (her LP's are amazing, and she has a series of machinimas named Starlight, that is subbed in english)
