Did a b2b set last summer. I learned that planning and a tracklist if possible is important.
Too true!
I would rather let me surprise by the moment. Its an amazing challenge to play tracks back and forth with ur buddy, always getting surprised by the bangers he discovered. Having to invent transitions on the go with tracks you dont know. But its not only extremely fun for us, everytime we play the people recognise the special vibe we have and appreciate it. We are not only playing our tracklist, we also recognice the vibe of the crowd and can always adapt fast to their needs and tastes with the Tracks we feel the most in this given moment. :D
Me and my best pal used to do 3 on 3 off. Gives you a chance to direct the set and we knew each others wax well enough to set each other up. Sometimes we'd lob so they could smash it, sometimes a curve ball if we felt like fucking about
Nice! Sounds fun :)
Back 2 Back.. Lethal Weapon... I've done it before in my sets & its fun
Nice 👌
I’m actually trying to make it a challenge for myself to do b2b with every dj in my city in Nashville. I’m planning on picking this project back up after I graduate school which will be April
That's awesome!
wanted to ask, with b2b, can both djs utilise different softwares?
It all depends on the set up
