      @@christ2664 well as a Dj you feel more confident about your skills if you did that but in reality, he's right, the crowd doesn't care. So yea it could be a personal learning experience that you can apply in your future sets to improve yourself as a DJ and you should care less what other people think of you cause they have no idea what are you trying to do.

    #wearecrossfader #1 transition is useful for quick cuts or mix from cue points #2 is good for open format djs as it utilizes echo location and fade away #3 is my preferred transition that is evenly balanced with tempo range control and 4 beat loops but a bit more complex to learn. Great tutorial and very insightful about bpm, tempo ranges, fader control, counting bars and transitions. 💯

    That transition into Skrillex - The Reason was actually a giga chad move.

  • @Bj0rnFranklin

    #WeAreCrossfader 3: Close toss up between #2 and #3. But #3 is more technical and bigger payout for the audience. Glad to have seen them all actually. Extremely useful techniques for a casual DJ looking to grow after a few years as a hobby.

  • @keithlee4963
    @keithlee4963 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    #WeAreCrossfader
    I’m going to have to go with 2 for it’s simplicity and it’s ability for a beginner DJ to switch genres easily (with some practice of course). I think learning the third transition is the most beneficial because it teaches so many skills at once i.e. tempo adjust, looping, and just learning your music. Thanks for using different controllers in this tutorial as well #WeAreCrossfader

    I didn't like transition 1 because of needing to use a break in the music to go to the next song. I liked transition 2 a lot because I think the echo transition is a lot easier to use. Transition 3 was the coolest, but it would definitely take me some practice to get the loop, tempo, and song synced perfectly. I think the two songs you chose for that one would be a bit difficult for me because of the off-beat start of song 2. It had to be started on the 4 which would be kind of a weird count.

    I think you were late on all of them and screwed with the phrasing too much. I wouldn't have 4 counted a break on the 1st and just dropped it flush, on the second I would have set the echo effect to actually echo at the bpm of the incoming track and mix into the echo, then dropped the third transition in 8 beats earlier.

    Hey Jaime. I really enjoy transition three. its not too complicated for a more advanced DJ whom knows what they are doing. A great idea to slow the loop in time with the slower music. Thanks

    Man I really like your videos you really help us to improve our skills. The 3th method is the best.
    Thanks a lot!

    #WeAreCrossfader the third transition would be my pick. Great for transitions with a big difference in bpm. Thanks for the tutorial, I wished I didn't spend my money on a '"physical" dj course 4 lessons in of 6 and haven't learned a thing.

    Number 2 and 3. Tho using 1 and 2 properly makes a smooth transition between tracks. Hopefully I'll get to master and combine these techniques in a near future since I'm a rookie for now. Great vids btw.
    Cheers.

    I liked the tempo change in the loop to switch to the next song. I’ve been looking for someone to show me this, and I didn’t know if DJs use it. Thanks a lot!

    Transition 2 - echo out is so useful, basic but has helped me out so many times. #WeAreCrossfader

    #WeAreCrossfader Im in a tie between #1 or #3. #1 allows for really quick mixing, however #3 is alot more clean and i feel like theres alot of possible combinations you could do with #3.
