I thank you for showing me this tip ,but my problem is every time someone show a how to video they always do it with edm or house music. I just wish it could be done with R&B or Pop even Hip hop. You made it simple thank you

Could you make a 2nd video showing the same using SeratoPro and Flip?

Flip works pretty much the same way. Set your cue point(s) run the track while recording. You can manipulate the platter however you need so you won’t miss up the timing. And when you arrive to the point you wish to skip over do it. Once you are past stop recording. Remember to turn off loop on the FLIP save it. Play it. Should run as expected.

Hi guys love you're work, do I need to own Serato pro and all the add on's to use this part of the software.
I use TP3 but this looks great to make us some cool dj / short / remix songs.
    Cheers ✌

No this is a separate software to the DJ software, check out the Serato website and you'll see :)

I just jump to my outro cue to shorten the song. I put a visual cue to know when is a good time to do this or I just listen to the song on the fly.

If you have Serato, (or any other DJ software) a cuepoint could solve this. But in Serato, FLIP can accomplish this for $29 (sometimes free with some controllers) vs $199 (sometimes less with discounts) great video but this is not ground breaking. I use FLIP for all kinds of edits.

Yeah, lots of way to accomplish the same thing - this is just a simple task to help people get to grips with Serato Studio :)

Can two songs be loaded together?

Or you could have just put a cue point where the drop is and saved a load of time. So play the intro and at the right time jump to your cue point.

True as that is, this ensures consistency and frees up space in your head to do other things.

This is the basic technique - you can make multiple edits in order to recreate the version "in your head" once you know the basics.

OR just automate with serato flip. Am I missing something here?

There's more options for what you can do to the audio in Serato Studio and then you can export it is a new file which is preferable to some. Flip is awesome too though

Digital DJ Tips the beauty of flip though is you don’t have to create an new file. Eliminating having multiple tracks, especially if space is an issue. I actually dig that. But I could see why some may prefer another way. If we’re talking about just jumping from one part of the track to the other though, I would say flip is probably better for that than making a whole other track just for something so simple. I dunno.
