I currently have: 2 Martin SCX700 2 Martin SCX500 10 V-Show uplights 1 or 2 light bars (low output compared the ones you posted) Venue Tetra Controller ADJ light stand (12') w/ T-bar and add-on bars 2 6'5" truss totems 2 Global Truss crank stands 1 LaMaitre Hazer I want to possibly get moving heads, ADJ Dotz T-par system, and/or these OPPSK lights. Affordability-wise, I probably need to get these light bars. I don't use the heavy trussing and Martin stuff any more. Small gigs for me now that I've downsized.
I got these for the cheap $200 DJ stand with the white/black fabric skrims... I just stick them on the floor pointing up at the skrims, and they look pretty cool. ✌️
I have 2 of these and definitely like these lights! Hopefully next version is battery powdered and wireless DMX. Even jist battery powered be cool, just have the wireless dmx dongles makes life easier lol
My favorite light review video so far! I'm looking for 1-2 affordable lights for a somewhat small space. My club runs social dances at our college and we want to set a great atmosphere on a student budget. Do you know if these will be able to stand up vertically on their own? Do I need to buy something to prop them up?
so i just got 4 of these. man they are bright! even with the difuser on them. question: what auto program did you like best? Im runing them master/slave. did you find a floor stand or a pole to mount them?

Hey, thanks for watching. Depends how you are using it. If using DMX there are a few different channel possibilities. The lower channel options have a master Dimmer - CH1 If you go into the 50+ channel operation they are all separate. I believe I was using Chauvet Showexpress when doing this video which gives me more options. How are you using it? Did you refer to the manual?
@KrisSzanto I don't have any sort of DMX capabilities, I am just using the menu on the back of the unit. I looked in the manual for dimming but didn't see anything on it. The only thing I can come up with is turning down all the color values. I am learning about DMX and how to do it.
Sorry about that. I have a few different types of them. Some of them are to long... some you have to mess with and kind of turn the o clamp into the wing nut.. Can always cut them with a hacksaw or dremel.
I've watched a lot of DJ vlogs and so far, DJ Kris is the easiest and coolest to watch. Good job !!

I would suggest holding off on the Dotz... I know venue is working on a bar system and a new controller. 😏

Biught the same o clamps. But the screw doesnt fit the lights brackets. Its too big
