On rare occasions, fluid can ride up the blade of the dipstick causing amounts of fluid to eject out of the vent/dipstick hole. You can remedy this extremely rare circumstance by simply rotating the dipstick plug a 1/4 turn. The wd-40 cap / trick is absolutely necessary and is always a good idea when transporting!
After our use with this model, we steered clear of the brand because of the economics and build quality. Plus the fact that the company called us and asked us to remove this video as it hurt their brand.
WorkshopAddict which things about the build quality made you concerned, besides the hydraulic breather cap and battery holder? Which brands DO stand out to you? Also, thanks for posting a good, honest review.
@@ryankremer9832Iv been beating on mine for years. I haven’t had anything break. Build quality has been adequate for the job. I’m the type of person that’s breaks things.
I am looking at this model - so if I move the log lifter to the other side and swap the hose location (and get longer ones), will the lever be on the correct side or still have to reach over? I think this is what you guys were getting at but wanted to be sure.
@@josevelasco3245 One could also switch the lines at the control valves so you would not have to reach over the log lift lever to split, but the lift is on the side it is in the video so it is opposite the side with the engine.

I’ve never seen a log splitter of this type . It looks very efficient! I like that it can load the logs too ! A back saver for sure !
According to Rugged Made the lift table can be installed on either side. Therefore its not left-handed only.
I have the 37 ton, I assembled mine and put the log lift on the other side. You should be able to switch it to the other side.
Log lift can be mounted on either side.
I'm waiting for a Wolf Ridge splitter in January.
What can you tell me about the Raven engine? Is it a quality engine?
The link to Amazon results in a price that is $1,100 higher than a direct purchase from RuggedMade.
Finally, a left handed log splitter. Lol. Does the engine charge the battery?
Said no one ever! Yes, it will charge it slightly.
This one is the half beam model, how does it compare with the full beam? they have both at 22 ton so what do you guys think?

@@WorkshopAddict thanks guys! Hopefully this will make the company step up their game and try harder. Keep up the great work!!

Dinesh Jangra can you cast aluminum?

If I had a fireplace to burn wood, I'd have that splitter because I'm a lefty.
I seems to me . You would want to throw the split firewood with your right hand .
You never Mentioned the price of this log splitter
Couldn't you just stand by the lift and it would be a right handed splitter? That would be the smarter way to operate it.
Wuhan log splitter
